The complex is centered around a lush tropical courtyard with a large outdoor pool and deck. The deck includes lounge chairs for you to enjoy a day around the pool. There are multiple outdoor grills located on each side of complex as well. In front of Anchorage I and Anchorage II, you will find a playground, memorial park, exercise trail, private walkway to the ocean, outdoor showers and private beach gazebos for our guest to enjoy. Elevators and handicap ramps are located on each side of the complex and are easily accessible. Condos feature full size washer/dryer, flat screen TVs, and high-speed internet. Ample parking is available.

* Please note Anchorage I is a SMOKE FREE building (including private balconies). Renters may smoke in a designated area in the back parking lot (opposite side of ocean)

* No motorcycles, trailers or golf carts allowed on the property

The Anchorage is located just minutes from Broadway at the Beach, the downtown Boardwalk and Sky Wheel, Myrtle Waves, Barefoot landing, Tanger Outlets, NASCAR Speedpark, live theater’s and shows, golf, and restaurants.

Myrtle Beach International Airport is a convenient 10-15 minute drive.

Family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 2nd year we’ve stayed at anchorage 1 and we love it. It’s a walk from the beach. The area is very nice and quiet. it’s family friendly and it isn’t to far from the Tanger outlets or mall. We will definitely be staying again.

Enjoyed our stay.

Trip got shorten account of hurricane Ian. Good weather up til the storm. The shower heads in both baths had low pressure and the house vacuum needs a belt. Other than that everything else was fine.

This was our second year in a row visiting Myrtle Beach, and we wouldn’t choose any other location other than this condominium. The atmosphere is great, the rooms are always clean, the pool is thoroughly enjoyable, and the beach is first rate. I would highly recommend this and any other Anchorage rental to anyone of my friends.

Ocean View Locataion

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the unit was nice and we enjoyed our week. The location is perfect, the beach isn't crowded, the pool is great, and the property is fantastic. There were a few items to note about this particular unit: there was a broken lamp in a bedroom, a toilet not working properly, both fixed quickly, a picture was off the wall on the floor in a bathroom, a wobbly chair in dining room and front door very hard to open, as well as bedroom door very hard to open - they stick. Furniture is old and shows many many years of use. Broken piece on bottom and top of dish washer. The pro's however were the view, unfortunately obstructed by a large bush so you can only see the beach from the right side of the balcony, the kitchen is remodeled and nicer equipped than other units, and the floor is great for sweeping up sand. With just a few improvements, this unit could be great and I would recommend.
