The complex is centered around a lush tropical courtyard with a large outdoor pool and deck. The deck includes lounge chairs for you to enjoy a day around the pool. There are multiple outdoor grills located on each side of complex as well. In front of Anchorage I and Anchorage II, you will find a playground, memorial park, exercise trail, private walkway to the ocean, outdoor showers and private beach gazebos for our guest to enjoy. Elevators and handicap ramps are located on each side of the complex and are easily accessible. Condos feature full size washer/dryer, flat screen TVs, and high-speed internet. Ample parking is available.


* Please note Anchorage I is a SMOKE FREE building (including private balconies). Renters may smoke in a designated area in the back parking lot (opposite side of ocean)

* No motorcycles, trailers or golf carts allowed on the property

Great condo by the beach

We had a awesome time on the beach in this condominium. Very well appointed. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view for a lower floor unit. Checkin and checkout info by property management was clear, easy and convenient. Only thing I will mention is: there is very limited closet space. Like most of these units, owners keep a locked closet to themselves, however, there isn’t a single hook or clothes rack to keep anything hung up in the master bedroom or bathroom and in the second bedroom, one closet is locked up and the other one has all the beach gear -which, don’t get me wrong, is nice to have- .

Home away from home

Great place, equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Brand new appliances, very nicely decorated. Will definitely be back and totally recommending for a beach vacation conveniently located steps from the beach.

The interior of the unit needs quite a lot of updating and the decor is a lot less upscale compared to other units we have stayed in, but we still had an excellent stay. We have and would recommend Anchorage to friends again in the future.

A home away from home

Reviewer Comments: The ocean-facing unit felt like I was staying in a friend's apartment. The two bedroom unit was massive for just one person but I'm not complaining. The service staff were accessible during daytime hours and gave me a starter kit with towels, soap, shampoo, dishwashing fluid, washing detergent, etc. On-site parking was always available. And being away from the boardwalk and Southern Myrtle Beach is a positive. They do not change your bed linen or clean the unit for the duration of the stay--in my case it was fairly long at six nights. Not an issue for a single person. And you are expected to wash your utensils, discard the garbage, and bunch up what needs to be washed before you check out. But all said, I would go back to this unit in the future. It was a nice break and the easy access to the ocean was a difference maker.

Deck was wonderful with amazing Ocean Views. Not busy or commercialized. Would definitely stay again

Keyless entry, A/C, hot water, furnished, with kitchen. 1 master bedroom ocean-side, 1 guest bedroom, pull-out couch, separate bathrooms, laundry room, and small roofed balcony with sliding doors to living room & master bedroom. Included wifi and cable tv (3 LCD's), linens/bedding, towels, kitchen utilities, beach chairs, and on-site parking (hang-tag rqd).The location is excellent- 1/2hr north or south to most attractions and dining, and just outside an upscale residential & resort zone. Generally, minimal traffic and quiet. No rude or half-a-job guest services/hotel staff to deal with. Anchorage Rentals, LLC made the rental process on-point and efficient.You can securely clean your clothes during a long stay; and cook your own meals if desired. Walking access to the beach in

Nice beach, but ....

The location was excellent, easy access to the beach. We had several roaches when we checked in. Didn't receive welcome letter until 30 minutes after check in time. This property needs updates. The blinds don't close and main bedroom faces the street. Make to bring toilet paper, only provide one roll!

Quiet Ocean Front Condo

Reviewer Comments: My fiance and I were looking for an ocean front condo that would be quiet and where we could comfortably stay and make meals during the COVID-19 pandemic. This condo met those requirements. However, this particular condo needs some love - definitely needs updated paint, fixing uneven floors, water damage in the ceiling and even rust on the towel/TP rack in the bathroom. It also smelled very musty even after cooking several meals. The other discouraging factor was that we were on the ground level and saw rats going in/out of a storm pipe which made us hesitant to sit outside or to go to the pool
