Freshly remodeled super clean and immaculate 900 sq ft Casita with two bedrooms ( 1 Queen , 1 Double ), full tiled bath with double sized shower and two sinks, Full kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, professional juicer, toaster, coffee maker, etc..2 Air Conditioning units, flat panel TV, Cable, WiFi, and the largest private swimming pool in Punta Gorda. Come relax and soak up the sun in a hammock, watch flocks of parrots and other local birds, listen to the nearby Howler Monkeys and enjoy the firefly's at night. Fruit trees and beautiful landscaping in place. This is not a "touristy" destination, this is a private home on a secluded street backed up against the jungle providing you the most private relaxing get away you can get. There is another smaller Casita also on the property you can rent at an additional charge for larger parties.
Free on site parking available. Free pick up from local airport, bus terminal or pier. Whether you are looking to visit the nearby Mayan temples, or head out fishing/snorkeling in the Caribbean sea, we have guides, excursions and concierge services are all available as well if needed. Bicycles on site, free for guests use.

We had a wonderful time at Laura's and Thomas home away from home hideaway in Punta Gorda, Belize. We had our privacy and was very peaceful and quiet. Would not hesitate to rent again.

We liked our stay. The landscaping is very beautiful, the dog ...Damian.... gets you to love him in very short order. The pool was a necessary “cooling off spot”. Would have liked to have seen a working filter system for it. The facility is very beautiful...but needs more light in the kitchen,......hard to see what you are cooking. Shower needs some maintenance ....leaky. Large and roomy and not overpriced in my mind. Would recommend to others. Thank you Laura.

Katherine, was a real pleasure having you stay with us this past week, and thank you so much for the compliments on the yard and little Dammi. I wanted to take this opportunity to address some of your comments... We have a wonderful and very much "working" filtration system for the pool plus an individual that comes very early in the morning to check everything. The filter system is in the little locked room behind the pool and generally runs late night/early mornings as not to disturb our guests. Large pump, Large filter as well as a computer controlled Salt Water Generator that gives that silkiness to the pool and eliminates the need for chlorine. Makes your skin feel great and doesn't burn or stain your eyes/clothing, etc.. If I would have known you wanted to see it I would have gladly shown you. More light in the kitchen? that's the first time I have ever heard that comment, which part of the kitchen? there are direct lights over the dining bar, as well as directly over the stove and sink areas. So if you could help me and let me know where so I can make any improvements for future guests. Will be checking the shower today and if it does leak will get it fixed ASAP! thank you so much for letting me know. Have a safe flight home, and hope to see you again. Laura

Absolutely gorgeous property, not walking distance to town

The.pictures are accurate, but don't convey how beautiful this place is. You are almost in the jungle (listen for the howler monkeys!) with all modern amenities. We had our privacy but Laura was always available if we had questions. The ONLY drawback (for some this would be an advantage) is that you are quite a ways from town and will need a taxi or rental car to get to anything, down a significantly potholed road. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Great house, best way to stay in Punta Gorda.

The house was great, and made our stay in Punta Gorda. It is landscaped like a botanical garden. The swimming pool and backyard of the property were wonderful as well as room to park off the street. Its a very peaceful place to stay in for the day, or take advantage of all the things to do close by. Punta Gorda is a wonderful town, great places to eat and explore all it has to offer.
