Fantastic little place

We found this place a perfect place for a nice couple getaway. We enjoyed the walks to and from town and quietness of the place. The shared pool want bad at all as there is only one other unit on the premises and we only ran into them one time.. We also loved the proximity to Playa Muertos, which was a 5 minute walk away. Overall, loved the stay!

What a gorgeous place to call home for our week in Sayulita. We walked everywhere, never felt a need for a golf cart. And the accommodations were so comfortable. The air conditioning was icing on the cake to return to after the few particularly hot days we had. We can’t wait to come back!

Very Tranquil

The Casita was clean and spacious for its diminutive size. We had an issue with the A/C control upon arrival., but the host resolved it very promptly. The pool and views were glorious! The walk to town is about 7 minutes with a steep uphill climb back to the Casita which provided me with a vigorous amount of daily exercise. I would love to visit again in the future.

Father Son Trip to Sayulita

Great views of the jungle and ocean. Make sure you close the door to the bathroom to cool the unit. The bedroom will be freezing cold but necessary to cool the rest of the unit. Multiple ice trays in the freezer would've been helpful as I was constantly making ice. Housekeeping comes just about every other day and I wish she would've left us more bath and beach towels. Love that the infinity pool is right above the unit and after a day at the beach, it was nice to hang out there and watch the sunset. However, the pool was dirty and cloudy because they don't run it long enough. It needs to be ran 12 hrs minimum in that heat. Great communication with the owners. The walk to beaches was a lot longer than I was expecting. Wish we would've had a golf cart. Once you walk up, you really don't want to walk all the way back down and get dirty so we did absolutely nothing in the evenings. Beach vendors every 30 seconds was annoying. Playa Los Muertos had way less crowds. Still seemed like just as many vendors. I'd definitely stay there again but with a golf cart. TV would've been nice (personal preference) And work on that pool. Just know its a lot of walking and I wasn't expecting it to be that long. The heat and humidity wasn't helping either. Overall, very pleased and would highly recommend. Just have the correct expectations. Thank you for a great stay! It was memorable and a new experience.

Wonderful Sayulita apartment

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, conveniently located with beautiful views. We loved having the pool right there. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond.

Gorgeous, quiet & private escape from the bustle of Sayulita

My boyfriend & I loved it here, we were able to find just as much peace & quiet when we wanted to escape the tourism of Sayulita. Sunsets by the pool were our favorite. Immenidies were all there, place is stocked to enjoy the comfort of cooking at home. The markets in Sayulita are fantastic! Only thing to think about it maybe getting a golf cart, the walk is pretty far (12 min) not too bad but in the dark we found it to be hard. Golf cart would have helped us immensely. We can’t wait to return, 6 days was just not enough! Thank you!

WOW! Perfect secluded and beautiful place for couples. The view was incredible, peaceful and relaxing. We had a minor problem with the water system, but hey, it's Mexico and the owner was right on top of it and fixed the issue quickly. Get away from the hectic child filled main beach. Relax by the infinity pool. Would stay here again in heartbeat.

Clean, modern place in a tranquil setting.

Great place in a tranquil setting. Highly reccomended for two people. My only advice is to make friends with Amor Boutique so you can walk up through their property (after 9pm) in order to get to the place. Otherwise you’ll for sure need to rent a golf cart. All in all we had a great experience!

We discovered Sayulita in 2002, on our honeymoon. We returned a few months later and bought our land in the perfect spot, just close enough and just far enough from the center of town. We dreamed and planned and designed for the next few years until we finished our two casitas in 2010--one for us and one for our family and friends.

We split our time between Sayulita and New Orleans. We are so happy to be able to share this magical place with you.

Why they chose this property

Retreat yourself to a private split-level loft nestled into the hillside where the ocean meets the jungle. Only visible from the sea, Marita offers an incredible level of privacy. A wall of windows open up to magnificent ocean views and still retain complete privacy.

The private, shady terrace offers some respite from the sun. It's ample enough to stretch out on the lounge chairs or enjoy your local food finds as you dine al fresco.

As minimalists, we designed this space to provide everything that you need and nothing that you don't.

What makes this property unique

Casa Marita is an extremely private stand-alone house with its own completely separate entrance. It is tucked into the hillside, not visible at all from the street. It sits above the Los Muertos beach, surrounded by jungle canopy.
