It was perfect. The house was more than expected. Huge kitchen. Lots of space outdoor for our fur baby.

The property itself would have been great had they warn you truly about the entrance of a mud dirt road to get in and out of the area. In poor weather you would not be able to get in and out safely if you do not have an off roading vehicle. If you are from out of town ubers will drop you off at the entrance and you will have to hike to the property about half a mile. The beds are very old and sheets uncomfortable. Due to weather challenges and we tried to borrow a vehicle that would get us in and out. Our vehicle ended up getting stuck in the path we had to carry our children in the wet rain falling in the mud to the property to get in safely. It ruined all of our shoes and they did not seem to care. They cancelled and refunded us for the two days after even though we were trying to figure out how to leave that night. The property manager was kind in response but did not seem to really care. The owner did not care at all. She is hardly responsive and does not answer any questions or concerns. If you want a secluded get away them this is the property for you if you want a relaxing vacation I would steer away.

I believed I was scammed by this host! One week prior to the stay they called to say the road leading up to the house needed repairs and I could cancel or they could offer me another place that was not on VRBO. Since my trip was less than a week away for a big event at the convention center, I was worried about finding another place that would be able to host my family and pet. The host uses a property manager who called me to explain the offer, saying the other house was wonderful, better than the advertised house on VRBO and we should be happy. I should have realized then I was going to get scammed. The house is list for sale, and the link was sent to me. The pictures on the link, did not look too bad and things looked minimal, but clean/updated. So, I thought I was being nice and doing them a favor decided to just stay there. OH MY goodness.. Upon arrival - THIS was not what the house looked like inside. They used AI or something to make the house appear clean and updated in the pictures!! The carpet was covered in stains from the 70s, the couches were absolutely disgusting! The floors are warped in areas has if been under water. We were afraid to touch or sit wondering about all the stains. We immediately began calling hotels knowing we would not enjoy our stay here. The host said that they could not refund me because the trip had started, and I needed to call VRBO. VRBO said the host can refund me, but didn't. Now I'm waiting to hear back from VRBO. Complete scam.
