Had an amazing stay…. definitely needs a little TLC. But otherwise was perfect for our family and did not affect our vacation one bit. We loved the crows nest and the perfect location.

We had a great stay at Fin and Tonic. Was unique in my stays there because we had a view of both the sound and the ocean. Sunset over the sound is great from the deck. We had 4 people in our family staying, and another 20 staying nearby. There was enough room to have people over for dinner (not all 20 lol.) We go to Hatteras once a year and I'll definitely consider returning to this house. Clean, perfect for us and the dogs, and the host accommodate us on short notice. Thanks for a great stay.

Great experience at Finn and Tonic. House worked out perfect for our family of three. House was exactly as shown in the photos and was very clean upon arrival. Very nice location for fishing as ramps 48/49 are right up the road. Would absolutely book again.

Great Location

Great location - just a very short walk to the beach. The house has a great location to the beach. The inside decor is older but the pictures online are up to date and accurate. Washer and dryer worked well. This house was all we needed for a beach getaway- we stay at the beach all day. Property owner is responsive.

We had a wonderful time at Finn and Tonic. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. It was such a short walk to the ocean. Plenty of room for the 5 people and our 2 dogs. The best part was the crows nest. We went up every night to watch the stars. I couldn’t ask for a better vacation.

Awesome place

We’ve stayed at many places on Hatteras Island and this is definitely one of our favorites. Everything was so easy thanks to Stewart the owner who is so easy to talk to and is helpful at every turn. The house is incredible, roomy and laid out perfectly. The crows nest is a great touch! I hope we get to stay here again sometime.

Great spot to relax and access the beach!

Our family loved our stay at the Fin & Tonic! It was a great and quaint location with a short (less than 2-minute) walk to the beach. Beautiful town and shoreline. House is clean. We loved the outdoor shower and crow's nest. Steward was a wonderful host with great communication!

Great Central Location!!

Our stay at the Fin & Tonic was terrific! The central location was very convenient with stores, ferries and fishing spots close by. The house was still in the process of being updated but was still comfortable, clean and the beds slept great. Stewart, the host/owner was also very complimentary and responded to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

I am laying new wood laminate floors in both bathrooms. I also am doing touch up painting, removed the 2 outside black futons. Kitties will love them in our shed underneath house! Thank you! Stewart

Horrible rental, when I checked in the air condition was broke and it was over 80 degrees. I contacted the owner and he said " just open the windows". The next dayd he informed me the AC people were coming out and I told him it had starting working again. I went to the beach only to get a text "telling" me to meet and let the work men in. I informed him I was not able to and he said " dont worry I will get them in" I told him my dog is 15 years old and was out and I did not want to risk him getting out. He did not care and I came back to 2 men in the house and my dog shaking. The house smelled horrible and the paint was falling off the ceiling in the bathroom and it was mold on the shower curtain. There are no outlets in either bathroom. The wifi did not work 90 percent of the time. The beds were very uncomfortable and the kitchen was not stocked with proper equipment. I would not recommend this house to anyone, very poor conditions.

AC now fixed, as it was 70 degrees in our house, as per cleaner. Ac can not do over 18 degree drop if 96 degrees and humid outside. We had it serviced 4 times in summer. Ac is only 4 years old. You rented our house as is. As per our signed vacation rental agreement with you, if you are a picky or demanding renter, then don’t rent our house. Hundreds have loved it. We always get problems fixed.

Just like home

This is the third time I’ve stayed at Fin and Tonic in Frisco and I’m sure it won’t be the last. It’s a comfortable place with all the amenities one would expect in a home and it’s in a very convenient location. I like the new bathroom floors too!
