Can’t beat the stay for the price

Overall stay was exactly what we needed. Communication was easy and fast response. Nice area close to everything downtown and can’t beat the price.

The property owner promised an apartment with three beds, including a sofa bed, and we ended up in an apartment with no sofa bed and one leaky air mattress. The picture shown in the listing looks similar, but it is not the apartment we got. The picture is of a ground-floor apartment, and we were given a second-floor apartment with similar decor but different and missing furnishings. This was false advertising, not delivering what was promised, terrible communication, and no accountability or responsibility for their failure to deliver. Not what we have come to expect for a VRBO-calibre property. We had no choice but to stay there because of the busy weekend.

The pictures that are posted online are not of this unit. They are on a downstairs unit and an entirely different apartment. The apartment was not clean and had a smell to it. The air conditioner unit did not work. It was 83 when we got there. We tried to call him and he would never answer. He would only send messages. We reached out to the owner and to vrbo and neither were helpful. We were told by vrbo helpline that a cleaning crew would be sent to clean and no one ever came. The owner of the property sent someone to replace the filter on the air conditioner unit 24 hrs later but the unit didn’t start working it was 79 degrees 24 hrs later. It was so hot the first night we had to get another hotel because it was unbearable to sleep in
