Not What We Expected

The room that was advertised was not the same room we had. This room is located in a hotel & to reach the front lobby, you have to walk through a restaurant on the patio, which is very crowded & felt awkward. While the room was clean & modern; the furniture was not the same as what was pictured, nor was the layout. The windows were under very bright lights that were on throughout the night and the curtains did not block out the light. One curtain rod was damaged, bent downward off the wall & was difficult to close. This room was also a corner room on the 1st floor facing an alley & the strip. The bathroom door is a clear, frosted door & there are no shades or blinds to block out the light from the ally. This allowed light to shine through the bathroom door into the room at night. The bathroom tub drain was clogged, leaving a few inches of water in the tub while using the shower. There was no outlet in the bathroom, so there wasn’t a place to use the hairdryer near a mirror. A couple of things we did not realize upon reserving this space was that there is no parking anywhere near the hotel, so we had to walk a half mile with our luggage just to check-in. Everything is valet parking around this area. Also because the hotel is on the strip, it is VERY noisy quite late into the night. On a Wednesday night, people were out & about partying well past 3 AM. The bed was comfortable & I will say the customer service from the hotel staff was excellent!
