About this property

Spacious Cabin in the Woods near Breweries and Wineries

Escape to the Treetops Lodge, your own "cabin in the woods." Located on 12 acres of lush mountainside, the Treetops Lodge is perfectly situated for multiple families, with three bedrooms, plus a bunk room, loft, and office. Enjoy mountain views from the spacious main living area, with plenty of seating for friends and family. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck, looking out over the fire pit, or get geared up for a hike to the seasonal waterfalls, right on the property. Close to multiple wineries, breweries, cideries and Wintergreen.

NEW FOR 2025/2026 - Level 2 EV charging now available! (NACS)
NEW FOR 2025 - The driveway is paved (as of June 2025)! Although still steep and long, it will be much more accessible for all vehicles (but we still recommend AWD/4WD for inclement weather/snow).

Treetops Lodge provides 3 bedrooms (King bed primary with ensuite bath on the upper level, Queen bed on the main floor with full bath, and Queen bedroom downstairs with full bath). The game room/bunk room provides a separate kids area - 2 bunk beds along with games to keep everyone entertained. There are 3 living areas - the main living/dining area features a wall of windows with mountain views and a wood burning stove. Upstairs there is a loft with TV and sleeper sofa. And downstairs (adjacent to the bunk/game room) there is a third living room area with couch and TV. The office on the main floor includes another sleeper sofa and access to the back covered porch.

Outside, there is a wrap around deck for outdoor dining and relaxing, and a firepit with seating. The property provides plenty of space for hiking and exploring - including seasonal waterfalls, creeks, and trails.

The cabin was well prepared with the basics we needed. Kitchen was well stocked and wood rack was full for the wood stove. Linens were high quality and the property well maintained

Perfect Family Getaway in the Woods!

Our stay at this charming cabin in the woods was nothing short of perfect. Tucked away in a peaceful, forested area, it offered the ideal mix of rustic charm and modern comfort—perfect for our family reunion / wedding. The cabin was incredibly family-friendly, with plenty of entertainment options for all ages. We had a blast with the foosball table, dart board, video games, and poker table, which made for some memorable game nights. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked—not just with cookware and dishes, but also with a great selection of spices and baking supplies, which made cooking meals easy and enjoyable. The thoughtful touches continued throughout the home, like nightlights in the hallways for safety and convenience, and high-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms—way better than the typical travel-sized stuff you usually get.Outside, we made great use of the firepit for s’mores and stargazing, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and it really felt like our own little private retreat. All in all, this cabin was a fantastic value and had everything we needed (and more) for a relaxing, fun-filled family reunion.
