The kitchen offers everything you would possibly need to prepare a meal. Gas stove/oven w/griddle, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, airfryer, toaster, blender, chopper, kurig maker, drip coffee pot, cutting boards, dinnereware, cookware (cast iron skillets) cups and glasses. perfect for families or groups. Front porch has rockers for relaxing and wildlife watching. The backporch offers a patio table and chairs, there is a fire pit for chilly fall and winter months. Plymouth is a bird sanctuary, surrounded by several National Wildlife Refuge(s) Pocosin Lakes, Pungo, Lake Phelps, Alligator River, Mattumuskeet National Wildlife Refuge(s) within a few short minutes (12minutes - 45 minutes). Plymouth Cottage is our personal home away from home. Our go to place when relaxing, and unwinding is essential. Eventually our desire is to retire in this sweet little cottage, and beautiful area. We recently decided to offer our cottage when we are away as a retreat for visitors to come and enjoy the area as well. The cottage is adequately supplied with everything someone would want or need while vacationing. Why they chose this property
Plymouth is a very small quiet riverfront town. Perfectly nestled in between everything we love to do. Hunting, fishing. kayaking, and surf fishing the OBX Cape Hatteras National Seashore. We rountinely visit and explore one of the five National Wildlife Refuges surrounding us, which are all only minutes away. Plymouth is best known for its National Black Bear Festival which is held the first weekend of June every year. Supporters from all over the United States come to attend. Plymouth is a Bird Sanctuary, and is often visited by our local black bears due to our close proximity to Roanoke River, Pungo National Wildlife, and Pocosin Lake Wildlife Refuge(s)
