The rental smelled like an old fish house. There’s been moisture damage previously and it smells of it. Found child’s greasy handprints all over the unit as well as a couch that was once white but is now 2 colors. I feel like I paid more than double what the rental was worth.

The location of this property is an absolute 10/10. The views overlooking the Arkansas River and valley are breathtaking. Watching the sunrise in the morning and seeing the sky fill with stars and satellites at night was a major highlight. Note that there isn't a ton to do immediately nearby, but Greenleaf State Park and Sequoyah State Park are about 30 minutes away for great hiking and outdoor activities.Getting there is relatively easy, though the final 3 miles are gravel/dirt roads with a steep incline at the end. Any vehicle can make it, though AWD or 4x4 definitely helps.Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were hit with a very strong mildew odor. To the host's credit, communication was easy, and they sent cleaners out the next day to fix it. However, aside from the stunning scenery, the overall level of comfort, cleanliness, and atmosphere didn’t quite match the rental price point in my opinion.

Beautiful place to stay! We truly enjoyed our time here. My kids absolutely loved the fishing pond, and the views were beautiful and so peaceful. We can’t wait to come back!
