The yard is large and has great potential, and the fairy lights and fire table were nice touches in the evenings. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the pool.The pool vacuum and long hose were left stretched across the pool during our entire stay and we were told we were not allowed to move them. This made it difficult to actually swim or use the pool normally. The pool heating also did not work during our stay. We paid for the heating option and notified the host when we arrived, but it was never fixed (they did reimburse the heating fee afterward).The listing also overstates the sleeping capacity. I asked about this before booking, but the house does not realistically sleep 12 people. There are only three true bedrooms, while the additional sleeping spaces include a converted closet with bunk beds, a very small loft accessed by a ladder, and one sleeping area that can only be accessed by walking through the master bedroom and bathroom or by going outside. We had 9 people and it already felt crowded; 6 would be more realistic for a comfortable stay.The way the property functioned during our stay was quite different from what we expected based on the listing description and photos. Future guests may want to confirm the pool setup and carefully review the sleeping layout if privacy and usable sleeping space are important.
