Very nice place. The only complaint I would have is if there is someone staying downstairs you can hear and smell everything they do. Close to plenty of restaurants and stores.

Lots of steps to get into the property. Not very many cooking utensils for cooking. Neighborhood kind of loud at night. Close to lots of things to do in Kansas City or surrounding area. Not bad for a quick overnight stay.

Melissa thank you for your stay. You were a great guest to host and kept the place very tidy. Now the noise at night is a shocker being that it’s very quiet in that neighborhood day and night unless there’s a basketball across the street in the facility.
I had to contact the host Damon about getting into the property. It is my fault I didn’t understand the directions. He was very pleasant to work with. The place was very clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay. Next time I am Kansas Kansas City or independence and can stay at the property
Check in was real easy, gorgeous kitchen. It just needs a deeper pot and a colander to make spaghetti other than that. Everything was there that we needed.
Second floor property that served our needs well. There are a couple of hazards that are concerning (stairs leading to the property are a little wobbly and wooden treads are bowed so make sure you watch your step, & metal transition strip by exterior door in kitchen is installed in a way that leaves a dangerously sharp exposed cut edge that could easily cost you a trip to the hospital) but overall the place was as advertised.
Check was super easy. The place was clean and cozy. Would definitely stay there again. The host was super helpful and replied quick. Overall great stay.

Thank you for your stay Nina. It was a pleasure having you guys.
My son and I were in town for a basketball tournament. This was a great property for the two of us. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and only 30-35 minutes from the basketball games. It gave us much more privacy than a hotel. Damon was always accessible and tremendously professional and courteous in his replies.

Thank you for everything Shane. Glad we could accommodate you and your son.
Good experience. No issues with host. Apartment is on the second floor with a lot of steps to that level. Wall through grass/dirt to get to stairs. Everything worked for us. Did have a high speed chase go by our locatuon in the middle of the night. Cinstant sirens.
I stayed here for six days to attend the Big 12 Basketball Tournament. The property is as described, and the rooms are large. It is easy to locate a couple of blocks off the square in Independence. For warmer weather , the Square is a short walk with shopping, restaurants and breweries. The area is clean and seems safe. It is an easy 15-20 min drive to T-Mobile. Host was prompt the 2 times I contacted him. If availailable next year, I will book again.

I am a husband and father of 5 children. With a previous career as a firefighter, I decided to leave the service and become a full time real estate investor. As of November 2021 I took on the role of educating beginning investors on how to jump into real estate with little to no money down. During the pandemic my wife and I wrote a short book, basically pertaining to real estate at a beginning level.
Why they chose this property
What I enjoy most about the neighborhood is that it's close to a lot of night life and entertainment of Independence Mo. For the most part the street that the property sits on is very quiet and peaceful.
