Have been to this property multiple times with our family and it never disappoints. The space is beautiful inside and out. We spent a lot of time on the private beach and felt we had everything we needed for our stay. We love how spacious everything feels with the tall living room windows looking out onto the lake. Morning sunrises were the best. Would definitely recommend staying here, it is unforgettable.
Lovely view, well maintained, nice home. Our family enjoyed the visit tremendously. We have been visiting the area for nearly 40 years. This is our second visit to this property and would return in the future.
We loved staying at this home and have stayed there before. Great location for us since we have family in nearby rentals. I only gave the accuracy of listing four stars because I think the check in time was different in the notes than in the listing, so we had to confirm. There was also confusion about if linens were provided because I think one place says they are and other says they’re not. At any rate, we cleared it up. Minor issue. We will be renting again!
Very nice home. Everything we needed was available. Close to do fun activities. We went on a wine tour and went charter boat fishing. Did a little shopping. We only had a couple of nice days for the beach, but watching the lake view was amazing.
The moment we entered the driveway, we were impressed by the house. Later....even more pleased by the beach.
There were a few small issues, but I left a note regarding them for the owners.
Overall it was a very pleasant week's stay! Even the weather cooperated except for one rainy day :)
This was a time to get together with friends. The photos did not give this house justice. It is within 50 feet of the lake. The house was well stocked for cooking, relaxing with books and hard fought euchre games..... it even got wam enough for a quick swim in the lake
We loved this property!. The lake is right outside the door. We enjoyed watching the lake both from the deck/shore and from inside the house with the large windows. It was quite comfortable for our party of 6 ladies - the beds were comfortable. Plenty of TP in the baths but no paper towels or kitchen towels. the location is convenient to all the towns on the Door Peninsula. The house was clean except for some of the kitchen pots and pans. We did plenty of cooking and spent evenings relaxing in the comfortable living room. Would rent again.
This was our second stay at this property. Our son’s family came for 3 nights and our 8 and 10 year old grandkids could not get enough of the beach and home - even asked us to buy it! We spent most of our time walking the beach, watching clouds & stars, reading and watching the kids play on the beach. We would have a fire every night. My granddaughter must have completed a half dozen jig saw puzzles! Hosts
have generously equipped the home with everything needed to enjoy the beach & rainy days. The well equipped kitchen had coffee and some spices in the cupboards,. There was a Keureg & drip coffee maker. The home looks out on a wide sandy beach with beach grasses and is beautifully designed to take advantage of the beach and water views. We love this place and hope to return again.
Door County is a favorite destination and staying here is a big part of our overall experience. Convenient location. Beautiful view. look forward to next year!
Our 2nd time gathering with extended family at this home. Responsive host. Spacious & suitable for 9 people from 8 to 75 years old. We had amazing weather & hope to return again.
We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house. It is incredibly comfortable, well laid-out, and has plenty of room for everyone. It is on the best beach in Sturgeon Bay in my opinion. There are games to play, and room to relax. I already booked it again next year.
Our favorite things about this property included the beautiful setting right on the water with beach access and stunning sunsets. It was easy to get where we wanted to go and the amenities were nice. Some things that could have been improved were that the internet is controlled by a light switch that had been turned off so, when we arrived, there was no wifi or phone. The cell service is also very poor, which was not unique to this property, but common on the peninsula. We had to figure out the light switch problem on our own, as the manager did not know it was controlled this way. There was mold above the shower in a bathroom and there were no clear check-out instructions that so we had to guess how we were to leave the property. We were asked to sign the guest book but it had been full for the past several months. The directions to get to the property were also challenging because the address did not come up on Google Maps so we could have used more detailed instructions. Despite these things, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the peninsula itself!

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Lovely Home with beautiful views of lake.
The home is exactly as described. It is a very nice home, well
stocked kitchen and nice large rooms. The lake view is amazing
as well as the private beach area. We really enjoyed our
week long stay. Our only complaint was very poor communication with the owner. We were given a code for the
lock box with the house key and it didn't work. Check in was at 4:00 pm....we never got in the home until after 6pm because the
code did not work and after repeated emails the owner finally responded with a different code. The only means of communication with the owner is email. I emailed again on Wednesday to ask about garbage pick up day and check out details (as none were given) and never heard back. It's too bad
because the house is very nice but because of the lack of communication with owner I would hesitate to stay again.
Very lovely home. Has everything you need. Very easy and convenient check in. The home was absolutely stunning with great views from each room. The pictures do not do justice. The home also had everything you need. Will definitely try to come back in the future.
This is a very nice, large house, in a wonderful location. There is a deep ,wide, pristine beach that is right on Lake Michigan. The water view is great. The kids loved playing on the beach. There is a nice fire pit and a very good Weber grill. The house has a very nice kitchen and lots of features. The upstairs was pretty warm for sleeping. The host was very responsive when we had an issue early on. It seems like it is way out from everything, but it is actually only a short few minutes from Sturgeon Bay. I think this property is a very good value.

Our family has been visiting Door County every fall, and some winters for the past 26 years. We fell in love with the gorgeous views and all the activities that the peninsula has to offer. From the changing of the leaves, to sledding and cross-country skiing in the winter, bike riding, sun-rises/sun-sets, boating/fishing on Lake Michigan, and the amazing local food... It has been my dream for years to own a vacation home that I can enjoy with my family for many more years to come. I am glad to share a piece of my family's dream with all of you!!
Enjoy, Mike Moreno
Why they chose this property
One look, and you will know why we chose this property. The views are breathtaking, and the grounds are magical and serene. Our home is also far enough away from all the goings and coming, yet close enough drive to partake in all that Door County has to offer.
