The Space:
4 Bedrooms | 3 Bathrooms | Sleeps 15

- Master Suite: Queen bed, en-suite full bath, and cozy reading nook overlooking the great room, perfect for remote work.
- (2) Queen Bedrooms
- Bunk Room: Three Twin XL-over-Queen bunks (sleeps 9).

Bathrooms: (3) full baths, including a main-level bathroom with a tub for families with little ones.

The main floor boasts an open-concept living area with soaring cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a grand stone wood-burning fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. Gather at the dining table for eight (extendable to 12) or enjoy extra seating at the kitchen island.

Step outside through the sliding glass doors to a spacious deck with custom ski Adirondack chairs, ideal for morning coffee or sunset cocktails.

Upstairs:
The master suite offers privacy and comfort, plus a charming loft space for reading or catching up on emails while enjoying mountain views.

Lower Level:

Summer guests: Our home does not have air conditioning, but the cool mountain breezes keep it comfortable in the evenings. We provide box fans for each bedroom that can be placed in the windows, plus a ceiling fan in the great room to keep air moving. If you love fresh Maine air and sleeping with the windows open, you’ll feel right at home here!

We had a terrific stay at the Whistle Stop Cabin. The home is beautiful and very well maintained. Very comfortable home and nicely appointed. The home was exactly as advertised. Hosts were super helpful and responsive and had a great welcome gift for us on arrival. Would highly recommend this home for a trip to Sunday River/Bethel. Five stars!

This place is truly Exceptional!! We have been to many places listed as “Exceptional” and when we arrived it wasn’t so… From communication while planning our stay to the day we left Dustin and Fallyn were very responsive and helpful. This home is meticulously clean and offers great attention to detail…the beds and bedding are amazing, the bathrooms are fully stocked with everything you would need if you were home, and the kitchen is generously stocked as well. I was happy to see they even included dishes for my toddler. They truly thought of everything!! Wow…we highly recommend and appreciate this rental….5 star all the way around!!
