The host is very communicative and took great care to make sure we were comfortable and had no issues. The house had plenty of room or our party of 9 and Rajeev was very accommodating when we had our future daughter in law and her service pet join us at the last minute! The home was clean, well-appointed, and had great linens - the hallmark of a good short term rental! We will definitely be back!

The host was very responsive and the house extremely clean! The bedrooms on the top floor had very low ceilings and there are only two showers so it wouldn’t have worked for more than a couple of nights for our group. We were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with extended family and had room to spread out which was nice. Thanks Rajeev!

Beechmont House

This property is absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean. The host was very attentive to my questions before and after check in. The host checked on my family during our stay. The yard, the porches, and the entire interior are so cozy and comfortable. The check in and check out processes were smooth. The neighborhood is quiet. I am already looking forward to going back! Definitely recommend the Beechmont House

We rented this home for our daughter’s college graduation and were fully transparent with the owner beforehand. Although the listing allows up to 15 guests, we never exceeded 14 people, and the gathering was simply close family, including grandparents and young children. There was no party or disruptive behavior.Around 10:30 PM on graduation night, the owner began repeatedly messaging me, saying he was “watching the house” and accusing us of violating the rental agreement. The constant, late messages was intrusive and inappropriate and took away from what should have been a joyful evening. After checkout, the owner tried to charge me over 2,000 despite no damage to the property. The only issue was a stain on one comforter, which we washed before leaving. He later sent a video asking how I planned to pay while simultaneously filing an insurance claim, and I later learned the insurance company had already reimbursed him. His wife also sent me a very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional text after our stay.We respected the occupancy limits, cared for the home, and left it in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the excessive monitoring and aggressive communication made the experience stressful and disappointing. I will never do business with this owner again.

This house is a gem in a quiet middle class neighborhood in Bridgeport, CT. I can say this with full authority since I lived in BPT until my early twenties. We rented this house for a funeral gathering that included eight overnight guests. The host was responsive from my first inquiry and since I was around the corner anyway, he stopped to let me and my elderly dad see it. You can definitely categorize it as a McMansion. Downstairs is spacious with a nice kitchen and table. Pro tip: the kitchen table chairs recline! There is a huge backyard and a porch with two sitting areas. Guests at the gathering were able to hang out downstairs where food was set up buffet style on the dining room table. They also were outside on the porch or in the living area where there is a countertop table and a TV that someone had figured out how to play music on. The kids enjoyed the huge yard and played tag and soccer and dared each other to climb a tree. There is a half bath downstairs in the kitchen that they used. Overnight guests used the second and third floor bathrooms. The bedrooms on the second floor have queen or dull beds and there is one bedroom with an en suite. The third floor has three bedrooms and two have twins. One room was empty but the host purchased a sofa bed with trundle for our visit specifically! Linens and towels included.Third floor has sloped ceilings so you do have to watch your head. Great find! I’d rent again.

Thank you so much, April, for your thoughtful and detailed review. We’re truly glad that the home could provide a comfortable space for you and your family during such an important gathering. It means a lot that you noticed the little touches, like the kitchen chairs, spacious layout, and the yard that the kids enjoyed so much. Since your stay, we’ve also completed a full exterior painting of the home with fresh new colors, and we’re excited for future guests to experience the updated look. We appreciate your kind words and would be delighted to welcome you back anytime. Warm regards, Rajeev
