If you are looking for a great night sky and privacy -this is it-. Just make sure to come prepared due to it's remoteness. Kitchen is somewhat limited, but manageable.

This is an amazing property. It is remote and so quiet! The owners have wonderful taste and have thought of every detail, including small touch activated lights in the tent, quality amenities in both the indoor and outdoor shower, a hammock, a plank walkway from the gravel driveway to the cabin, and cooking equipment and spices. The location is perfect. We hope to return!

Excellent stay at a unique location within driving distance of several National Parks and numerous other outdoor wonders. Host was easy to contact and provided much appreciated suggestions for local activities. Cabin and tent were clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay. It was magical! We stopped through on a long roadtrip with 2 kids and it did not disappoint. Immaculate inside and out. Has everything you need. The quiet was other worldly. We enjoyed making pizzas in the pizza oven and watching the sunrise and sunset.

The host was great to work with, very friendly and we cannot express how amazing this place was! It went beyond expectations and perfectly fit our plans! The location is everything and more on the Cedar Mesa with Bears Ears in the front yard that’s endless in beautiful all around! The tiny home is beautiful inside and out and very comfortable, we loved the outdoor kitchen and tent! We also enjoyed horseshoe pits and e-bike, the night sky was magical and elk bugles in the distance! We will definitely book another stay with our family soon, we loved watching all the birds and falcons close by, everything we wanted to re-visit was very convenient traveling too, Natural Bridges National Monument was amazing as well as all the Pueblo Hopi and Navaho ancestral sites were an extra bonus!

We spent 3 nights at this very special property and loved it. We enjoyed the solitude of the property, cooking in the outdoor kitchen and exploring via e-bike. We also really enjoyed venturing out into the surrounding area - lots to see and do without dealing with crowds. The property is well outfitted for comfort and cooking great meals. Communicating with our host was clear and easy. We would happily come back again!

This is a remarkable property: a small modernist cabin and adjacent large tent, perched on the edge of a sage-brush plain overlooking the Bears Ears that give this national monument its name. Every detail is designed for both beauty and practicality. It’s simultaneously primitive and luxurious. The listing photos do not quite capture how spectacular it is. Anyone who gets to spend a few nights here is fortunate indeed.

very unique experience, being in the middle of nowhere. the host thought of everything we need in a short stay - clean rooms, good lighting that's easy to control at night, well stocked kitchen. It's hard to believe this is an entirely off-grid property. Getting there was a little nerve-wrecking because we had to go up Moki Dugway, the free-range cows, and the long dirt roads made us a little nervous, but once we got there it was perfect,

Even though this is a Tiny House, our family of 6 had enough space to spread out! It is just as amazing as the pictures, maybe even better. The EBikes were enjoyed as well.

Dark Canyon was indeed a great off grid experience. The 360-degree views around the cabin with no other humans around offered something not found very often. Sitting on the deck at sunset while enjoying a glass of whiskey and looking at the Bears Ears was truly a western experience. The sunrises make you want to get up early just to experience the beauty. It makes you understand the use of pink and turquoise in the Native American art of this region. The wildlife around the cabin was wonderful. At night the howling of the coyotes and bugling of the elk and the deer grazing by the cabin was so nice, it let us know we were the visitors to the area, they owned it. The fact the cabin was dog friendly and we were able to travel with our two dogs made the trip for us. They are large dogs and enjoy hiking and being with us. They are well trained to not bother the wildlife, this would be essential in this area.

We were doing the grand circle and spent two days here. Was by far our favorite place out of 6 different places we have stay in this trip. Had 6 people plus a ton of luggage so was a little tight but wasn’t too bad. My son and I loved the E bikes.
