The location was beautiful. The house and furnishings were okay. There were some items that needed repair - a broken rocking chair on the deck, a loose toilet in one of the bathrooms, doors that didn't shut properly. There were no hangers in the closets and many of the closets had things stored in them, making them unavailable for us to use. The supplies in the house were inadequate considering the number of people it can accommodate. No baking pans were provided. There were lots of grilling utensils but not much for utensils to use when using the stove. It was interesting trying to flip eggs with a spoon. Definitely not enough forks, spoons and knives. Only 3 dishwasher pods were provided. I've also NEVER rented a house where you were required to furnish garbage bags and toilet tissue. We will be staying away from Summit Cabin Rentals in the future and will tell everyone we know to do the same.

Eden of the smokies

The wifi in the home is basically unusable,the coffee pot in the kitchen did not work and the house is infested with fleas. Besides that, we had a great trip.

Eden in the Smokies

Loved the house, and location. Only downside was there was no internet (judging from the comments in the guest book there never is). It didn't matter to most of us, but my daughter had to do some work online so it was a problem for her, and it also meant we couldn't use Netflix or other streaming services.

Great location

We really enjoyed the cabin and location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin is great. It could use a little love on the outside. Kitchen utensils and silverware are lacking a bit. The knives need sharpened. The oven doesn't work that great. There were not enough pillow covers for the number of extra pillows they had so we used T-shirts. We ran out of toilet paper and trash bags on day 2 which apparently the cleaning crew is supposed to stock that better. The maintenance guy was great and helpful trying to get the internet setup but we were without Internet all but 1 day which was a challenge. The property manager communicated decent although I had to make several phone calls and text before I received a call back the next day about the internet status. We would stay again purely because of location.
