About the host
Hosted by Carl Moore
My name is Carl. I grew up going to WALKAbOUT Creek as a kid. I had recently left my job to go back to school when it went up for sale, and decided to sell everything I had minus my car and computer to buy it. I've been running it since summer of 2021. I invest every bit the camp earns back into itself, and then some. It hasn't turned a profit yet, but I am hoping with this cabin and a newly coming shower house for the camp it finally gets there.
Why they chose this property
I love nature and the forest.
What makes this property unique
It's extremely remote but has amenities you'd only expect staying in town (mostly talking about the high speed internet). I and my gf run the place entirely by ourselves while both working full time, but if you ever need us we're there within minutes.
