Perfect getaway

We enjoyed our stay so much! Beautiful location on the water was just what we were looking for to relax and visit, play games, eat good food, and explore the area. Bunk beds are small for a 20 yo kid, but other than that, the house worked well for us. Easy to find, and check in was efficient (online). Not a lot of places to walk except for beach when tide was out - we did and enjoyed.

7 women scrapping away in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed are stay here. There was lots of room to work. The bedrooms are small but inviting. The view is lovely; we saw a double rainbow!

Great for families

The house was very clean and a great setup for families. We played lawn games and enjoyed water sports during our stay. The firepit was great for hot dogs and smores and keeping warm in cozy chairs. The view was fantastic and you can tell the owners really care about people enjoying their time there. We would definitely come back again. Thanks for the fun memories!

Nice Spring Break Weekend

We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend at this nice home during spring break. The house has a great indoor and outdoor living space, good size kitchen with everything you might need, and is right on the sound. Our kids enjoyed the kayaks while we enjoyed fresh oysters right off of the property. The house was also very clean. We'll be back.

Everything we needed and more!!

My family and I spent 3 days at the house. We had an amazing time!! The house was fully equipped with everything we needed from cooking tools to shampoo. Having the outdoor tools for games and water adventures, made each day a blast!! We especially loved our evenings around the fire pit!! S’mores never tasted so good since we had that amazing view to look at! Thanks you for allowing us to enjoy such a great time with family.

Beautiful, peaceful spot

A gorgeous property with lots of activities on site- just what we were looking for. We all had a great time playing on the beach, we went out kayaking 3 times in our couple of days, played a 3 day game of Monopoly, grilled, played croquet and made a jaunt out the the fabulous StairWay walk. The only slight wrinkle was that the propane tank had not been filled on the grill, but the property manager helped us find where to fill it and paid for the cost of the propane as well as some bonus fire wood for the fire pit.

Modern, cool vibe, with a killer view.

Amazing space and tons of room. While I didn't use the outdoor space (it rained!) the fire pit looked especially welcoming. The view of the water was absolutely stunning. Without even trying, I saw seals, eagles, deer and even a red fox. Nature right outside the door. :)

Beautiful location

The location was beautiful, the house nice and open concept which was wonderful for everyone being together. Bedrooms are on the small size but have comfy beds. The kitchen could be better equipped; sparse on baking type dishes and could have used a blender. Wifi was spotty and TV would not connect to it, and remote to DVD player was missing - we had brought games so we were set. Sitting outside with a fire in the pit was nice in the evenings.

Serene, comfortable & perfect for families

This property is as awesome as it looks in pictures. The windows and perspective gives you the feeling of staying ON the water, and the home has all the "stuff" you want when you're there - plenty of towels, patio chairs, canoes, boats. The kitchen has every utensil and appliance you'd need (including two ovens, wowzahs!). Parents: this spot is secluded enough you feel comfortable letting your kids run around the property and not worry about other vehicles; in addition to the wonderful beach, there's a basketball hoop, tetherball, and wooded areas for them to explore. We loved it.

It was amazing!!!

We were a 2 family group with 2 kids both around the age of 3. The house was better than we imagined. It was perfect for our families. The kitchen was equipped with enough stuff for us to cook every meal during our entire stay. Only recommendation would be to bring all your own spices to cook with as there aren't any here. (We left the few that we bought for the next person to enjoy) It was great house for kids since it's so open and there are great games/puzzles for them to play. The views are stunning and the property is very peaceful and quiet. We would love to make this an annual trip to start making lasting memories for our kids.

Great property!

The property has fantastic views and it was great to sit outdoors and enjoy the fantastic views. Kitchen had tons of appliances. Overall the property was clean. There isn't a lot of restaurants/stores in 15-20mins radius so better to bring your own food. One thing we didn't like that although the property charges a high host/cleaning fee it comes with a long list of cleaning and tidying up tasks before checking-out. These are sent via email. It is well known that nobody likes such practices and the host should revisit this area.

Week Away!

Pickering Passage exceeded our expectations and was the perfect spot for our week away. Our group was two families, each with two kids ages 11 and 8. The house was so spacious for our large and busy group, the queen beds were comfortable and the middle bunk room was excellent for the kids. This was a super hot week and we were grateful to have the water right outside, spent lots of time splashing around and kayaking. We also took a great hike in the Olympics, grabbed ice cream in Hoodsport and oysters and clams from Taylor Shellfish, and got delicious morning pastries from the Olympic Bakery twice! The view from the house was absolutely stunning and we enjoyed dinners outside plus s’mores. A truly magical spot. Thank you!

Family Time

We spent 3 nights here August. Grandparents, kids and grandkids spent time at the house. The house has a great space for family time. With grandkids, the house was perfect for us. The kitchen is well stocked. We did bring a bag of ice. Iam glad we did. The WIFI is excellent. Cell service from Allyn until the wifi was on at the house was one to zero bars. Lots to watch on TV. The grandkids liked that. It was August so, lots of bees. We did not use the kayaks, taking them up and down the stairs was to much work for us :) We enjoyed our time here.

Family fun on the beach!

This home is waterfront, with an outstanding patio/fire pit area, that overlooks the sound. We stayed for a week playing on the beach, kayaking, crabbing and best of all fishing at high tide off the bulk head (the kids loved it). We collected oysters from the private beach and cooked our freshly caught crab for dinner one night. We caught a couple small silver salmon too. The kids also enjoyed the volleyball and basketball when not on the beach. Some friends from Gig Harbor showed up on their boat and were able to tie up to the morning buoy for the day - which was great! The interior of the house was very nice and was tastefully decorated, matching the modern architectural design of the home. It is situated in a quiet area and was absolutely peaceful. This home would be great for anyone, including, families, couples, and outdoor enthusiast. We're looking forward to coming next year!

Awesome property

The house is perfect in every way. It was 4 adults and 3 children. The bunkroom was perfect for the kids. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is fully loaded. We had everything we needed and MORE! Kayaking, beachcombing, sitting and enjoying the view ❤️
