You’ve been warned.This was hands down the worst rental experience I’ve ever had — and I have photos and texts to prove it.I switched to this property for the fenced yard, unaware the pet-friendly filter reset. That was my mistake and I owned it FROM THE START— but the host’s reaction was inexcusable. Kelly was instantly rude, cold, and aggressive. She demanded we leave, charged 600 for the dogs, then canceled it and offered only 500 back from the 1,900 I prepaid — while we were 900 miles from home. No empathy from her AT ALL. Simply GET OUT is what she wanted!Only after I got VRBO involved did she raise it to 700. Even then, she wanted us gone. I asked about boarding the dogs (which we did immediately) just to stay — and only after more VRBO pressure did she reluctantly agree. No empathy, no professionalism — just hostility.Then the house itself:– Rotting food in fridge– Carpet stains, scuffed walls– Hair-covered, sticky floors– Black grime in master shower– No hair dryers despite listing– Broken ice maker (worked at times)– Rock-hard beds– Upstairs stayed over 78F — kids had to sleep on the rock-hard sofa bed downstairs– Garage with games was a sauna — expect to sweat and need a shower (with shoes)Photos show it all. Kelly only acted when forced. She should not be in the rental business.If you want a clean home and a decent host, avoid this place at all costs.The text messages have also been sent to VRBO!
