Lovely cottage, had a great stay. Cottage had everything we needed, including nice home-made jam from the hosts, and well located for the main sites in SW Iceland. Helpful instructions and advice from the hosts. Cottage always warm inside despite the weather being on the cooler side. Loved being out on the verandah listening to redwings singing and snipe drumming.

Having stayed in VRBO-listed homes on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, this home was one of the very nicest and most comfortable. Our hosts H and P were very gracious and helpful. We so appreciated the privacy, quiet. and the neighbor horses too. I’m hoping to return here for my next trip to Iceland!

The host was very responsive and instructions to the house were very clear. The house itself was lovely and fully equipped. We as a family of 4 felt at home. It is located ideally if you want to visit interesting sites of Iceland and not too far from the airport either. (2h drive). We will definitely come back again if we get the opportunity. All the best

Convenient place to see the south area and golden circle.

Check in was easy. We had some difficulty with the washing machine but the owner had the neighbor fix it quickly. Host was quick to respond to our concerns. The place is very small and not real close to shopping for groceries. But comfortable and had all we needed. It would be SO much more comfortable with screens on the windows! It was quite warm while we were there, and to have the windows open we got bitten badly by flies. Screens and fans would help.

Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohl und heimisch gefühlt. Alles war super sauber und einladend. Die Lage ist phantastisch, sehr ruhig aber dennoch zentral zum Besuch des Golden Circle und Landmannalaugurs gelegen.Die Kommunikation mit Pordur hat wunderbar geklappt und war sehr hilfreich. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter, dass wir in ihrem Häuschen für ein paar Tage wohnen durftenGern empfehlen wir das Ferienhaus weiter.

Wir waren Ende Juni für 6 Übernachtungen in diesem tollen Haus ( zwei Erwachsene und zwei kinder 3&5 Jahre alt.Wir haben absolut nichts zu bemängeln.Die Lage war für Ausflüge und Einkauf perfekt.Die Gastgeber sowohl vor der Ankunft und auch während des Aufenthalts sehr freundlich und schnelle Auskunft.Check in reibungslos und Haus sehr gut aufgeteilt,sehr sauber und überschaubar.Für uns als Durchreisende war alles vorhanden, was man im Haushalt braucht.Die Betten bei den Kindern und unseres waren in einem top Zustand und da wir auch nachts hell hatten, konnte man alles sehr gut abdunkeln.Wohn/Essen/Küche hatten eine sehr gute Größe und man hat sich direkt sehr wohl gefühlt.Auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und die Ruhe und die Natur zu genießen war ein Traum.Für uns war es der perfekte Aufenthalt in einem perfekten Haus, in perfekter Lage.Vielen lieben Dank an die Gastgeber
