To start the check-in process was easy, but everything went down hill from that. When we walked into the unit it was disgusting, the counters weren’t cleaned, the floor had pet hair all over, the cabinets all were finger printed and smudges. You couldn’t walk in there for five minutes without having dirty feet. We had to sweep several times just so we weren’t stepping on dirt. Second, when I booked I said we had two adults and two children. The place is a one bedroom with a pullout couch. There was one flat sheet and several pillowcases, but no pillows, blankets or fitted sheet for the pullout. I contacted host several times about this with a response that house keeping couldn’t come that night. So we had to run to target and buy stuff for our children to sleep, which they said they would reimburse me for. I don’t think having to run to target after a long day of travel was very fair for the money we spent to stay there. I also had noticed there were only three bath towels, zero wash clothes and we were a family of four. I requested towels for two days and finally someone dropped off a bag of new in the bag towels and wash towels, the day before our final day there. They were new so I went to wash them, which the Samsung washer threw a 4C code meaning improper water flow. So it took me all night to try and get it to wash towels. At this point we have no towels, the host said they would send maintenance to come look and they never did show up. No dish towels for the kitchen.
