The open floor plan leads directly to a huge terrace and private infinity pool, where you can take in some of the best views in all of Costa Rica.
The outdoor bar and kitchen area includes a gas grill, side burner – perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze and the sounds of the waves.

You’ll get visits from colorful wildlife, like red macaws, hummingbirds, monkeys, and more. It’s the ideal spot to relax, enjoy family time, or a romantic dinner (private gourmet chef available, for breakfast and dinner).

We loved staying at this beautiful property. The house is clean and comfortable with lots of space to relax. The view is incredible and we loved hanging out in the pool listening to the howler monkeys and watching the hummingbirds and butterflies. The property is close to the beach and great restaurants. Communication was fantastic. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon!

Our family felt taken care of by every inch of the property. From the pool to the bathrooms, to the kitchen, to the bedrooms…every inch of the villa was immaculately thought-out, calming, and life-giving. The property manager was phenomenal, and Samara was an enchanting surf town to find ourselves in. Best part was getting to know the Ticas!

We arrived to find out the air conditioner in the master bedroom was not working and had leaked all over the mattress, which was soaked through. There was no option of another mattress so it was remedied with an uninflated air mattress between the mattress and sheets. The air conditioner was fixed about an hour later after we had waited in the heat on the back porch with no compensation for our time or discomfort. After all this my wife and I still had to change the sheets before going to bed the first night as the water had wicked up the flat sheet that had been tucked under the foot of the bed. Our host was apologetic, but nothing beyond that was offered. My wife also found a pubic hair from previous guests on the toilet seat. Otherwise, the house was gorgeous, and the view even more so. The outdoor and indoor kitchens lent themselves to some great meals and the audio system was very much appreciated.

All aspects of the house were excellent. The guest bathroom toilet was lose from the floor and the loft air conditioner leaked water. When we called Leonie in these regards,and she had both issues immediately taken care of.Leonie was remarkable!!!

Definitely a 5 star stay! Leonie was an excellent host. We had a fantastic time deep sea fishing, ATV riding, and plenty of beach time. Barrigona beach was our favorite!!! Vilma made us excellent food during our stay. One of the most memorable moments was walking into the house the first time at sunset and seeing the most incredible view. It took our breath away!

Samara Reefs is a special place. Views are spectacular. Houses are very private. We saw lots of wildlife, including macaws and howler monkeys. Leoni, the property manager was on time and responsive. Also, the guidebook she provided was helpful in choosing activities and restaurants.

Costa Rican Paradise

Villa Vista was fabulous, right next to the Macaw House. The Macaws provided ample entertainment for all of us. The pool and house are just how they look in the pictures! We plan to return we loved it so much.

This property is amazing! We enjoyed hanging out in the pool and sitting on the patio in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed. We walked to the beach, visited the farmers market, and went into town several times for meals and shopping. Leonie made check in and check out very easy and had great suggestions for things to do and places to shop and eat. It was the perfect stay!

Great Getaway

My husband and I needed a get away and this was perfect. The house is very private other than the daily gardener visits. We were able to find a local fisherman and got fresh fish and cooked at the house most nights. Leonie provided a lot of links for places to go and was very responsive.
