Estaban was so nice and helpful! We've stayed at La Poza twice now. They are nice and modern, but not much in the way of cooking/eating utensils. There weren't even 4 dinner plates. And the cabinets are so high! Not sure why. The beds are comfortable and rooftop pool is beautiful, although pretty cold. Also a great location. Not much in the way of Mexican charm, if that what you're looking for. But safe and comfortable.

Great location! Esteban, the manager on location, was awesome! Views from the pool deck were fantastic! Sure, it can be a bit noisy at times, with the local bands playing and the traffic. But honestly that is what make the location great, you are right in the middle of everything. Only a block away from some great food, local bands, people watching. We will be back!
