The Space:
Built in 2024, this 5 bedroom ultra-modern family- and dog-friendly home boasts not only gorgeous views of the golf course, lake, and mountains, but it’s also an ideal location for exploring all of them. Start the day outside on the large deck with it's breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Inside, you’ll find a space filled with natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows that show incredible views throughout the day. Highlights include the open floor plan, modern furnishings, full RV hookups, 50-amp Tesla charger, and a huge, full kitchen that will keep even the most discerning chef happy. Grab a barstool at the kitchen island or sit down for a family meal at the adjacent formal dining table. In the evening, get cozy in front of the gas fireplace while you stream movies in one of the two entertainment rooms. Those working remotely will appreciate the free high-speed Wi-Fi and dedicated workspace in the downstairs bedroom. You’ll be just minutes from the shore of Bear Lake, and Bear Lake golf course sits right outside your back door. ATV and hiking trails, skiing at Beaver Mountain, and Bear Lake State Park are all an easy drive away. There are lots of fun amenities in the area, such as a frozen yogurt & custard shop, live pioneer-style stage theater, and electric bike rentals. While other vacation homes in the area give you access to the shared public hot tub a mile away, here you'll get your own private hot tub overlooking the lake!

Guest Access:
We will provide you with instructions for how to get in two days before your arrival. Guests will be provided with nearly everything they need: linens, towels, kitchen soap, detergent, laundry machine, hair dryers, iron, etc. Please note that you must coordinate with us if you want to arrive before 4 PM since other guests might be checking out on that same morning that you arrive. When this site says that your check-in time is "flexible", they mean that we can work with you if you request an early check-in; it doesn't mean that you can check in whenever you want and we don't guarantee early check-ins. So please plan on getting our approval for an early check-in time.
Getting Around:
You'll want to have a vehicle while you're here since Garden City is a small resirt town and doesn't have a bus system.

WE HAVE NO HIDDEN FEES. Our only fees are clearly listed in several places on this listing: There is a a one-time cleaning fee which is clearly listed by this site. Dogs are welcome, NO CATS ALLOWED, any other type of animal needs to be approved ahead of time.
Rates fluctuate automatically according to a computer-driven algorithm based on supply & demand. But don't worry, your rates will be locked in at the time you pay for your reservation, so if they go up or down, we will not charge you the difference or give you a refund. So no worries - we'll honor your original rates :-)
Interaction with Guests:
We're not one of those big management companies that will nickel & dime you or steal your deposit for no reason - we are a small, family-owned company that can focus on each house and each guest, so we can give you a much more personal touch and we know the property better than some call center in India like the big companies use. However, we aren't going to be available to come by if a light bulb is out. If it's a real emergency or something very important, we have a handyman that can come by, but please be reasonable in your expectations since he costs us a lot of money each time we send him out.
We coordinate with all guests ahead of time to make sure their check-in is easy and stress-free. We will send out the check-in instructions 2 days before your arrival. Check-in times must be coordinated prior to arrival to guarantee an early check-in.

The owner is great. The house is a good house. It is just built in a way that it isn’t my favorite. The kitchen and living room are upstairs, which isn’t favorable to carry all your food and coolers. The deck is nice but is facing such that the afternoon sun is beating down on you. After all day at the lake it is nice to have a deck that is shaded. We enjoyed our stay and the communication with the owner was very good.

We have two decks - one is covered and one is not. I'm not sure what the guest is wanting? Since we have such a great view, we built the house with the main living area on the second floor so that the view can be enjoyed. It sounds like Greg would prefer the easy grocery carry over the view, but I think we made the right choice.
