Unable to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. Temperature setting was not functioning. Instructions not adequate. After a day of sightseeing it was disappointing we were not able to relax in the jacuzzi or pool.

Beautiful House!!

This was more than we imagined it to be, and even better than the listing and the pictures. Claudia was incredibly responsive and answered our questions regardless of what time we asked them! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The property and house were just as described, and the pool and outdoor area was amazing!!!

Just Satisfactory -- Needs Some Work

Our group of 11 reserved the house because of its size, its advertisement as being high-quality, and its location. The host was highly responsive and friendly. The house is large, and generally structured as advertised, but multiple small issues affected our experience. Maintenance of the property was lacking in specific ways -- a freezer draw which doesn't close easily and leaked, several dead insects around the kitchen area including in the freezer and draws, a hard to lock back door, a closet that came off the rails, two dining room chairs that were shaky/about to break, no towel hooks or towel railings in any of the many bathrooms, a pool table and pool sticks that were in poor repair (the tip fell off one of the sticks), a dart board that was unusable, a pool that was significantly overheated with no instructions about how to adjust the temperature (some of us swam in it anyway!), no instructions in the house about anything -- we had to call the host and have the cleaning company come over to address some things the first night. We like the locaation -- the house was spacious which we needed, and it was generally clean though the fact that there were dead roaches (several) means the company which cleans the property could have done a better job! We've given the host -- who we liked -- this feedback. We suggested she stay in her house a few days with friends so she can see what the experience is really like for her guests. At this price point, that matters!

Claudia is a fantastic host. She was available for all questions and is very kind.The house is huge,and immaculate. It is in a very nice neighborhood, in a good location to get to everywhere you need to go. It was too chilly for the pool and hot tub but both are very clean and inviting.The kitchen comes stocked with all the dishes, utensils, pots and pans, that you will need. There is a Keurig and I believe a regular coffee pot, as well. The best part for us was the bedroom and full bath on the first floor. This was perfect for our elderly relative. The other four bedrooms are upstairs, with each having a full bathroom. The fourth room is a jack n jill bathroom setup, but it still works perfectly. If you need a beautiful, spotless, home away from home for a large group, this is definitely the place for you. I will mention one thing that I have noticed in many VRBOs and vacation rentals, you do need to bring your own washcloths if you prefer to use them. Many places I've been to recently, vacation homes, hotels, even certain cruise lines, do not furnish them. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this home and Claudia.Thank you for helping us cross off a bucket list item for our patriarch.
