About the host
Hosted by Christina Melander
I was born and raised in New Hampshire, save for a 2-year stint in England, attended college in Maryland and have lived and worked in Portland, Oregon for more than two decades. I love making guests feel inspired and relaxed at our two beautiful and very different short-term rentals in Keene, NH and Tucson, AZ. Extensive travel and a passion for design have helped me create homes that are comfortable, distinctive and full of extras guests love. I enjoy messaging with guests and doing whatever possible to ensure they have a fantastic stay. I'm team cat, an avid tennis player and always on the hunt for unusual treasures at thrift stores and estate sales.
Why they chose this property
I love this neighborhood because it's convenient to hiking, shopping, parks and restaurants. It's tucked away on a quiet cul de sac but very close to major streets to easily access other parts of town. The neighbors are chill, the mountain views are stunning and you can walk over to Udall Park, which has 12 pickleball courts and a farmer's market on Fridays.
What makes this property unique
It's a cool ranch design with vaulted ceilings and asymmetrical clerestory windows. Great exposed brick walls and a really sweet brick courtyard in front. The layout of the central living space makes it great for hanging out while the sleeping wing offers privacy. Plenty of space and wonderful natural light.
