About this property
Marion Village's Very Best Cottage tiny home living close to the town beach
VILLAGE LOCATION!
My family decided to join the Tiny House Revolution by building our cozy seaside cottage here in the quaint village of Marion, MA - just one hour away from Boston, Provincetown, and Newport, while only thirty minutes to Cape Cod and Providence, Rhode Island. Our cottage is ideally suited for a couple, small family, or anyone looking to embrace the benefits of downsizing and reducing their environmental impact.
ABOUT THE COTTAGE:
With around 600 square feet of space, we believe less is more with this cottage. Our bright, modern, and fully-equipped home will transport you to your own oasis complete with plenty of comfort including one bedroom featuring a queen-sized bed and a ladder to a loft with two additional twin beds. There is an open living room plan with a sofa, coffee table, dining table with two chairs, television, full kitchen, and full bath.
French glass doors open onto an outside patio facing a beautifully landscaped yard. Table/chairs and umbrella are on the patio for outside dining while a gas grill is provided for cooking. Parking is available in the driveway next to the house.
Hot outside? No worries - we have air conditioning! Coming back with sand from the beach? Jump in the outdoor shower! Need to do some laundry? Both washer and dryer are located in the cottage basement for your use.
This cozy cottage truly is the perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the summer by the sea - so cozy that you will never want to leave!
We offer a welcoming bottle of wine upon each guest's check-in.

About the host
Hosted by Gael Evangelista-Uhl
A Worceste MA native, I have spent the majority of my life in the Boston area. I am a Nurse Practitioner at Mass General Hospital in Boston. I have been a summer resident of Marion for over twenty years and know all the best spots in town (feel free to ask me anything about the area!).
What originally drew me to Marion? We were looking for a quaint beach town to bring our young children during the summer that did not require a huge sacrifice in terms of a commute. We wanted to avoid all of the traffic on the bridges towards Cape Cod and be just a little closer to Boston where we lived. Thus, we stumbled upon Marion, almost a mini-Nantucket and have never left!
The original home we purchased was owned by a family friend and it had been in their family since the 1910s. It was really special that we were able to purchase it and make it our own home for all of these years.
I just love the ability to wake up and have all of the treasures of Marion right at my door. Just a few steps from the house is the heart of the town, Marion's Front Street featuring local businesses and churches.
Why they chose this property
I also offer a larger three-bedroom home located in front of this cottage. It is perfect for family looking to enjoy all Marion has to offer. I often rent it to Tabor families. Be sure to check it out here on VRBO.
What makes this property unique
Perfect location in Marion - close to Tabor Academy, beach, and town as well as other vacation spots on Cape Cod, Islands, or Plymouth.
I take pride in my home. The property is well maintained, and I am very responsive to all guest requests.
