Fantastic location in the KLCC just 10 m Walk to Petronas . Property very spacious and 3 bathrooms was amazing . Views were amazing . Convenience to transport .overall great place to stay .

Location, spacious and great rates

This hotel would have been the most grandest if it's time. Our suite was huge, everything was quite grand. The staff were lovely. The location was just perfect. Walking distance with two kids in strollers to great food places, Petronis towers, shopping centres and other tourist places. For what you pay, you can't beat it. And we had a great babysitter from the hotel so we got to really enjoy the bars literally around the corner from the hotel. The hotel does need some updating cosmetically but the feel of the place is special.

Hotel Review

The quality of the hotel was horrible, it was so run down, the air con was not working at first and the air fluctuation was not good, it stunk and there was sign of bugs and a lot of dust. The area around wasn't so bad though there was a convinience store around the corner and it was easy to walk to the popular shopping malls.

We stayed there twice in a space of a week - 1st time was a disapointing - the carpets had stains. rooms though were quite large and is good for big families. the 2nd time we got a much better room - and the carpets were good. overall an average hotel - general tidiness etc.

Large, old apartment close to Menara Tower

We stayed in a 2-bedroom superior suite from 07/Dec/13 to 11/Dec/13. It was a huge apartment with ensuite to each bedroom & a spare bathroom, plus a study. There were 3 balconies providing good view of the city & the towers The hotel staff were very helpful & eager to help. There was a gym & a large indoor swimming pool. The gym equipment was OK. We didn't use the swimming pool but it looked good The main negative point was that the hotel was so old & poorly maintained with very dated furniture. Somehow, water drained very slowly in all the showers, bathtub, washing sinks. Whenever we turned on the washing machine, water would pool up on the laundry floor. Regardless of whatever we tried when having a shower in the main bedroom ensuite, water always pooled up on the bathroom floor & stayed there until the next housekeeping cycle. There were air conds throughout the apartment and they were so noisy that we had to occasionally switch off some of them to reduce the noise in the main bedroom & study area. Internet access was a chargeable item, therefore we did use it. If you are after a large apartment (not a 4-star hotel) & prepared to put up with the above negative points, then it would be OK. The sheer size of the apartment & the view from its balconies may offset the drawbacks. It's certainly not a 4-star hotel

great location

Location was the biggest advantage. Hotel staff was good, polite and cooperative. Everything was good except kitchen. Only one pot and one pan were provided which were more than 10 years old and very dirty. They dont clean dishes nor provide cleaning soap. Very disapointing kitchen facilities.

Stay at Mapel Suite

It was a very pleasent stay at Mapel Suite and the staff and service at the hotel were very helpful in booking local transport and tours to KL city and Genting Heights. I already recommended to my family friend who is too keen to make a booking very soon and will highly recomend it to others.

spacious apartments

The maple suite is excellent value for money. The rooms were large,spacious and well designed. The main living area is large and includes a dining room. The whole apartment was large and spacious.The kitchen is sufficient for most meal preparations. There is a large fridge to store food and drinks. This suite has three toilet/bathrooms. The suite were very clean. It has a washing machine,which a definite bonus when travelling. This apartment also had a study. The maple suites are well located. It is next to the main street ,Jalan raja chulan, where you can catch a free bus service (go kl free bus service) to most of the local tourist spots. You can use it to travel to a lrt station to travel almost anywhere. These apartments are next to the kl tower, near local nightspots,and major shopping centres. The staff are fantastic, helpful and very friendly. Loved our stay, and next time we come back to kl we are definitely staying here again.
