About this property

Eagle’s Eye Beach House - HUGE FIRE PIT, AMAZING SUNRISES, EAGLES GALORE!

The Eagle’s Eye Beach House is a privately owned 1600 square foot, single story, 3 bedroom, 1 3/4 bath waterfront handicap accessible home! Located on the east side of the Island lends itself to spectacular sunrises over the Cascades and Mount Baker, with vast views looking north to Oak Harbor and Mount Erie in the distance.

During low tide you can walk to Snakelum Point on the beach, which is just a short hike away! There is a great firepit between the expansive wrap around decks and the beach, ready for roasting marshmallows while enjoying the abundance of wildlife and the everchanging views.

The home comes with a private buoy located approximately 100 yards from the home, which is ideal for those avid fishermen who want to bring their boat to do some fishing and crabbing.

For those wanting to bring their dog, the home has a fenced in kennel area to keep them safe and secure in.

The home is located in central Whidbey, just a short drive to historic downtown Coupeville. It is situated almost at the end of a dead end street in the Harrington Lagoon neighborhood.

NAS Whidbey Outlying Field (OLF) is located about 10 minutes from the home, so you may incur some jet noise overhead during their occasional flight practice. We call it the Sound of Freedom!

The beach house has open beam vaulted ceilings in the kitchen/dining area and living room. There are two floor to ceiling propane fireplace's, one in the dining area and the other is in the large living room. There is plenty of space to relax after a day of hiking, fishing, crabbing or just playing on the beach. There is a concrete bulkhead with stairs leading down to the beach, as when the tide is in, the water comes all the way up to the bulkhead.

The home has just had new carpeting installed and upgraded the living room couch to a huge sectional with three recliners, for your relaxing pleasure! In 2025 the home was updated with new paint throughout the entire interior, along with new LVP flooring installed in the kitchen, dining room area, entry way, utility closet and both bathrooms!

The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs and features all stainless steel appliances and a large pantry. There is a very large eating bar in the kitchen with additional seating for everyone.

There is a king bed in the master suite, a queen bed in the second bedroom and a double bed in the third bedroom. Other amenities include WiFi, dishwasher, built in microwave, propane barbecue grill, two Smart TV's and a brand new stackable washer & dryer.

Please be aware there is one Ring security camera at the front door, that records video, plus voice.

We have recently started using VRBO’s rate recommendations, so the reservation rental rates may increase or decrease each day. Please note that we do not honor yesterday's rates.

Great location on the water. Had fun fire pit marshmallow roast. Remember to bring your own firewood. Also bring your own entertainment. The large screen tv in the listing doesn’t have cable or dish channels. You can do screen mirroring. The kids had a great time playing in the water and hunting sea shells.

We were very pleased with the house and being on the beach for the week. We spent many hours walking the beach at low tide, discovering the sea life and just enjoying the awesome view from the deck. The house was clean and comfortable, in a very nice neighborhood. We would certainly stay in this house again.

Relaxing but active stay on the beach

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this home with our pup. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had all we needed. The home is private and on a dead end street, lending to a quiet stay for us.The home's back patio opens to a private beach, perfect for enjoying beach walks with our dog and kite flying on a windy day. We also loved the home's location so we could explore the island, close to Coupeville/Fort Casey & Ebey and central enough for trips to Greenbank and Langley. We are already planning our next trip!

Best house on the Beach

This house was wonderful. I found it for my Dads 80th birthday they came to visit me from Maine and wanted a house on the beach. And that is what they got!!! It was clean comfortable and the views are amazing. I could not have found a better spot. We had eagles on the beach with us and seals watching us from the water. They have already decided to come back for fishing crabbing season and will be booking this house again.

Beautiful Beach Chill

What a relaxing and beautiful time. The kitchen is well stocked, the beach is very private, and the views are stunning! The eagles, herons, gulls, and seals provide plenty of entertainment. The dog loved the beach although it’s not sandy so she couldn’t run as much as she wanted to. The tv is nice and the sound system is great. April is a responsive host. We hope to visit again soon.

Nice stay

We had a lovely stay at this house. It was very clean. The beds were super comfortable Communication with the property manager was top-notch and you can’t beat the location. We did have some issues that I want to advise on:1. The two AC units are in the front of the house. They cool down the front rooms wonderfully, but we were unable to get the bedrooms cool, and this was during very moderate temps. There were no fans onsite and that could help2. The living room furniture was old and uncomfortable. We had a couple days we just hung out in the house (rainy weather) and struggled to be comfortable.3. The deck has a long wooden bench. I sat on it the first day without paying attention and ended up with a ton of splinters in my tush. I would not want kids around it 4. The BBQ was behind the house down the walk and awkward to cook from … the igniter was out, so we were advised to use the lighter in the kitchen. It is charming. The kitchen is well supplied and, as I said, we had a lovely stay.
