Beautiful and convenient!

House is well maintained and clean. The property manager was pleasant and helpful. The drive in is seriously up a hill but easy enough to get into. The area is really lovely. We saw bears and 3 baby owls!

Roomy cabin

The cabin was very roomy. We were able to spread out and have our own space when needed. The location was close to town but not in the crowded part. It was a great place to stay!

Perfect for a family getaway!

The property is spacious and quiet. Checking in and out was easy as pie. The kitchen was well stocked and the fireplace was fantastic. We made use of the hot tub every night and the kids LOVED the game room. I highly recommend this property!

Mountain cabin family vacay

Very spacious property! We had 12 in our group. The bedroom on the main floor was perfect for my elderly dad and his wife. The ensuite bathroom was so big, we stored extra items in there! The 2 bedrooms upstairs were huge as well as the shared bathroom. The downstais was perfect for my 4 grandchildren with a TV, lots of seating, pool table and other games to play. The bedroom with the bunkbeds was perfect for the kids! The other bedroom and bathroom was nice, since we had such a large group. Overall, it was very rustic and fit out family well!

Clean and comfortable, but a little beaten up.

The price was great, and the beds very comfortable and clean. Still, there was some wear and tear that was noticeable: The toaster was broken on one side, the coffee maker tray didn't work correctly, and some of the hallways needed painting. The cabin had clearly seen some rough use in the past. However, none of this meant that I wouldn't come again. The kids enjoyed playing pool and the video game cabinet. The decor was lovely, the view fantastic, and it was conveniently located to Gatlinburg. We had a fantastic stay!

Cabin Inn

We loved this property for the most part. Loved being close to town but still surrounded by woods. The place could use a few minor updates but overall was a good place to stay. We will look into renting it again when we go back. One of the toilets was leaking when we arrived and I contacted the management about it and they sent someone over immediately. Luckily it was a simple fix and all was well. The management team handled it beautifully.

Great house for lots of family

Had a great time with family during our week there. The house is very large, comfortable beds in every room. The bunk room having queen size bunks was a big factor for us with lots of tall teens and young adults. The living and family rooms were great for gathering with lots of comfortable seating. The back decks are set in the trees feeling like you're in a tree house. My only negative feedback is the floors on the main level weren't cleaned very well by the cleaning company but we found a mop and made it work The kitchen work area is a bit small for several people to work in at the same time but we had smaller groups assigned to prepare each meal so it worked out for us. There's a large table in the kitchen and a smaller table in the living room that aren't shown in the pictures that made for plenty of space for everyone to sit and eat.

Overall I'd stay again, but don't expect to use the pool

Cabin was perfect for my family. Spacious and homey. I was very disappointed in the pool situation however. It is not really walkable, and who wants to drive after they are wet from a pool. Plus pool was small. (The 1 time we went there was already a family of 6 there and it felt crowded so we skipped it. ). I think the cleaning fee was outrageous and the cleaners dont do a great job for the money. The vents were VERY dirty and there were spiderwebs in some spots.(which is more understandable being in the woods, but the vents , not so much excusable). The beds were comfortable, and I REALLY appreciated that they were king and queen size beds. BONUS points!. (Lets be realistic, 2 adults cant sleep comfortable in a double). A ceiling fan in the bunk room would have been a plus, but we used the provided box fan. The bath fan downstairs didn't work at all so that was a drawback to get all that moisture into the house, but again, not a deal breaker. Hot tub access was great! And having a grill was essential. We didn't need anything extra for the kitchen, (other than food, papertowels, and soap) it had all the needed cooking tools. There was enough room at the table for the 8 of us. It was overall a great stay. I would recommend!

Large facility, nice beds

A few minor issues would make this place a 4-5 Star. The dishwasher quit working, which I called and was offered the price of paper products to be reimbursed( wasn’t interested in taking time to submit receipts). Nonetheless, we quit cooking 3 days ito the stay due to mess. The back decks did not appear cleaned ( garbage, glasses and cigarette butts) and worst was the upper decks deeply stained chair cushions; no one set on them. The bear proof garbage containers could not stop a raccoon that we tried to shoo away every night; causing us to pick up garbage every morning. Also, a lot of little things like no light in refrigerator, mold on the upstairs shower curtain, not enough dish towels (especially with no dishwasher) and a dryer that had to be turned on twice to dry a load of laundry. Also, apparently there was an odor from the hot tub cover (my guests said it was only the cover). Not sure this has anything to do with it but after all my guests left on Saturday, I was going to use it for the first time but decided against cleaning off all the raccoon pooh all over the top of it. Also, the pool for this subdivision was closed; one of the main reasons we rented the place so the children could swim. The one at a different subdivision that we could go to was too full to use twice. There were window air conditioner units upstairs that were loud. The bathroom upstairs would not take a stopper to fill tub for baby’s to bath in. Again not the worst place, but not what I expected for what I spent on the place. Best summarized by I won’t rent it again,

I like your cabin and its location. However, it was not clean. You should also buy new pots and pans, the ones there have surely seen better days. We had to buy a large pot and we just left it there for your next guests. The hot tub is also in need of repair or replacement and the cover does not fit on properly. There was no toaster. On a plus side, the Keurig had a hole in the reservoir, and they replaced that before days end! Nice place you just need some better up keep!

Great time for the family

The Gatlinburg experience was awesome, mostly because of our location and amenities that the house offered. Our kids enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi to its fullest and it was fantastic waking and reading on the front porch and/back patio. The best part is that the family got to enjoy viewing of a black bear from a safe distance at the home! One of my favorite stays yet!

Great location

This cabin was in a great location with only about a 10-15 minute drive to the strip in Gatlinburg. We had 3 bear sightings while we were there, all within half a mile of the cabin. The cabin could use some updating and needed to be cleaned a little better, but it served its purpose for our weekend family getaway.

Excellent Stay

Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a very nice place. The space was terrific, the communication with the host and accessibility to the property was tremendous, and all of the amenities were fine. While we didn't use any of the TVs or Hottub (so I can't comment on those), the furniture was all comfortable and plentiful. We would definitely stay there again. Minor issues: 1) While the location was very close to downtown, Gatlinburg, you had to go THROUGH downtown Gatlinburg to get to everything in Pigeon Forge. Hence, what would normally take 10 minutes usually took 35 (Downtown Gatlinburg is WAY too crowded and it costs 20 to park, even if you are only going for a little bit); 2) The lock on the front door was difficult to lock (when I thought that it was locked, I could still pull the door open with a little oomph); 3) The lack of trash bags and paper products was aggravating (we're supposed to bring our own trash bags and toilet paper?).

Enjoyed our stay

The location of the home is fantastic as it’s very close to a large grocery store & just a few miles from downtown Gatlinburg. We had a family of 7 staying there ranging in age from 15-55 and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The cabin was clean and looks exactly like it does in pictures. Wonderful porches & rocking chairs! Beds were comfy too. We didn’t use the hot tub at all but it was a nice option to have.

Don’t rent this cabin

The a/c was froze up, the HOT TUB did not work!! It took till after 4:00 to get someone out there to look at the a/c. Then it took till the day before we were leaving to get the hot tub working!!! We had 1 day with a working hot tub. They should tell people about the steep stairs going upstairs. They are not elderly friendly!! The a/c & hot tub, should have been fixed before renting to someone.

Hi I'm Melinda. This is my brother Ben's cabin. I have been looking after it since 2016. We love the location of this cabin as well its spaciousness. We are delighted to welcome your family to enjoy it as well.

Why they chose this property

I chose this cabin because of its proximity to Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountains National Park, as well as for its space! I really love the location and spaciousness of this cabin! 1.4 miles from Rocky Top Sports World, 4.5 miles from the Space Needle in downtown Gatlinburg, and just 8 miles to Ober Gatlinburg for skiiing. 12 miles to the famous Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, and my personal favorite, 6.5 miles to Sugarlands Visitors Center. We are located right in the Arts and Crafts community, which is a loop you can drive and visit all kinds of craftsmen from painters to wood carvers. Having 3000 feet to spread out in is particularly relaxing, a welcome change from my tiny brick house in Nashville!

What makes this property unique

For guests with limited mobility, there are 3 steps to get into the cabin, a king bedroom and spacious full bath with walk-in shower on the main level and a recliner in the living room.

Along with every reservation, we offer one free adult ticket to each and every one of these attractions for every day of your reservation. One per cabin, expires daily, so make your plans asap.
