Nestled in a peaceful South Omaha neighborhood, our house is ideally located just minutes from the baseball stadium, the Zoo, and Omaha's many vibrant downtown neighborhoods. The Living Room - Step into a space that’s equal parts cozy and cool, with mid-century modern furniture, funky art pieces, and vibrant accents. The comfy seating area is perfect for lounging after a day of exploring Omaha, and the big-screen TV is ready for movie nights or streaming your favorite shows.

The Kitchen - Our fully equipped kitchen has the tools you need to prepare anything from a large family dinner to a quick snack. In addition to a spacious dining room, the kitchen sports a four seat bar which ensures everyone has a seat, even when you have a full house. And given my prior bartending background, I wanted to make sure that you were able to enjoy some of the crystal clear craft ice we use in our cocktails at home. You'll find several of these waiting for you in the freezer! This is also where you'll find a high performance stacking washer and dryer - perfect for extended stays to avoid all that laundry when you return home. I also was a barista in another life. As such, we wanted to make sure that you have access to a wonderful coffee bar.

The Dining Room - With seating for 10 in the main space, it's very easy to allow your whole group to enjoy meals together, instead of spreading out. And when you do have an extra full house of 11-12 guests, you'll be able to take advantage of the Queen size murphy bed also located in this space! Because there are two dining room tables which are both lightweight and easy to move, adjusting these to accommodate the additional bed is a piece of cake. Simply move them into the kitchen alongside the bar and/or into the wide opening between the dining and living room spaces.

The Bedrooms - On average, we spend a third of our life sleeping; Making sure yours is comfortable is a high priority for our guests. On the main floor, you'll find the most luxurious plush top hybrid king size bed, as well as a workspace when needing to work remote. With a privacy divider that can easily open up to the living room, the area always feels spacious and comfortable. Upstairs, we have a room with a queen size plush top hybrid bed, and full beds with highly rated memory foam mattresses in each of the other three. And we made sure to get extra supportive and comfortable pillows for every bedroom, to maximize your comfort. You'll find Smart TV's in every bedroom, allowing everyone preference when it comes to their entertainment, and several storage options, ranging from built in nooks, dressers, nightstands and a walk in closet.

The Bathrooms - Both of these are full baths, with tub and shower, with recently updated toilets and vanities. One really nice feature of the upstairs bath is a lighted fog proof mirror, perfect for applying makeup fresh out of the shower. The downstairs bathroom has vintage charm with it's mid-mod tub with matching yellow tile! High quality towels can be found in both spaces for your use during your stay.

Outdoors - When weather doesn't work your way, you can still enjoy a breath of fresh air on our two covered porches. On nice days, enjoy our quaint, fully fenced in yard with your company. You'll find plenty of off-street parking, with three driveway spaces and access to the attached garage on the front of the house (please note that access to the house is only available via the front and back porches - the basement is locked and only accessible during emergencies).

The entire first and second floor are available for use during your stay. While parking in the attached garage is available via the keypad, the basement is locked for storage. However, this is where the power panel and water main are located. In the event of an emergency, access can be granted immediately when necessary - just give me a call and I'll provide instruction on gaining entry.

The setup instructions for the murphy bed are located on a laminated sheet in its storage drawer. You'll also find sheets, pillows and an extra blanket stored here for use as well. Please let us know if you have any trouble setting it up and we'll be happy to assist!

You'll find a welcome binder on the dining room table which contains contact information, Wi-Fi access instructions, recommendations for local restaurants and businesses, and other helpful information for your stay.

Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash will be available for your use.

Additionally, at least two towels and washcloths per person will be provided, with detergent pods available should you need to wash the towels during your stay.

Dish soap, a number of dishwasher tabs, dish cloths and dish towels will be provided for use during your stay, and can be found under the kitchen sink.

Lawn care is handled weekly during the warm months, and a snow removal service comes by whenever there is more than a dusting in the winter. When there is a snow storm coming, we would ask that you move your vehicles to the street if possible so that the crew can clear the driveways effectively. In these cases, we'll also make sure to put down salt immediately to keep the property safe for your use.
