Pros: Location and proximity to beach. There is a very affordable parking lot just two blocks down. Under 10 per day and beats the hotel costs of 40 a day. Check in process was easy and staff at front desk was great. The room picks manager was responsive (even at midnight when I texted to send pics of the roaches in the bathroom) and the hotel did offer a refund or room change. We changed rooms simply for convenience because our days were planned and it was difficult to disrupt our trip in the middle to await another check-in. The other room was a better view but still had stained towels and was overall not well kept. No roaches in this room so I guess that’s a plus. Cons: The hotel itself is dirty - rooms are old, smell moist, walls chipped, towels visibly dirty, white sheets with yellow tinge, kitchen utensils mix matched. Worse than my kids dorm room and he lives with three other teenage guys. Roaches in bathroom. Check out is 10am sharp. They start knocking on your door at 9:45am and threaten to charge you an extra day if you’re not out by 10:15. I mean I get it but we were out in plenty of time. Would it have killed you to be kind? Overall: don’t do it. Pictures paint a modern hotel with great amenities but it’s not true. Pool is old. Cabanas are “storage”, it’s just kinda gross overall. Was a disappointing stay - felt misled.
