About this property
Stylish/Cozy 2 BR Art Deco Retreat- Wifi, AC, Central Location!
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located, comfort-first retreat. This 2025 new build offers modern amenities, homestyle comfort, stylish touches, and unbelievably easy access to everything in town!
Mere blocks from downtown Anaconda, Old Works Golf Course, Washoe Park, the hospital, and more! Easily walk to experience all this charming/historic town has to offer. Fish in town or at either lake. Hit the slopes. Hunt or hike. Stroll the park. See the history alongside the new!
This is a two-bedroom, one-bath unit in a brand-new duplex centrally located to everything Anaconda has to offer. Both sides of the duplex face different directions and are separated by a garage (no common wall), so you'll feel like you have a house all your own.
***Coming In the next few weeks: concrete entry patio, covered entry. Again, the interior is finished, the exterior needs just a few more items. Small town contractors can be frustratingly slow so we’re trying to stay patient while the rest of the outside/amenities are finished.
Enjoy a short walk (or a very short drive) to downtown shopping, eateries, breweries, wine bars, and...bar bars (don't skip the Art-Deco Club Moderne). The historic Washoe Theater and sprawling Washoe Park are just a few blocks beyond that. Walk, fish, or sit and enjoy Warm Springs Creek just across the street.
Anaconda was a bustling town in the early 1920s/30s, and we've decided to pay homage with an (updated) Art Deco decor. Enjoy sipping coffee, tea, wine, or a French 75 in the club chair or on the chesterfield sofa, with a glowing fireplace and mountain views out the front windows.
There's a full kitchen with all the cookware, tableware, and utensils you'll need to cook full meals at home. Coffee and tea are provided for you as well as wine glasses, champagne flutes, coupes, and a cocktail shaker!
The 2nd bedroom also has a desk/office area, so this is a perfect place to stay if you need to get work done in a relaxing atmosphere.
The home has:
Full kitchen with oven, stove , and microwave.
AC and heat
Deck with chairs (more furniture on the way)
King Bed: med/firm, contouring/pressure-relieving memory foam bed
Twin-over full bunk bed (full is big enough for me and my wife to sleep together)
Desk/office area in the 2nd br
Sofa, lounge chair, dining table for 4, wi-fi, TV/Roku, full kitchen, heat, pots/pans/place settings, coffee maker, luxurious shower (no bathtub), pantry items, tea and coffee.
The Area:
MT Hwy 1 is an unbelievably scenic highway connecting to I-90 in two places: just west of Butte and again at Drummond, less than an hour east of Missoula.
Hwy 1 will take you from Anaconda to Silver Lake, recreation-rich Georgetown Lake, Discovery Basin Ski Area, and historic Philipsburg, MT, and lead you to an amazing amount of area to explore.

*Warm Springs Creek is just across the street! There's a maintained public walking path along much of the creek.
*Minutes from downtown shopping/restaurants
*Smelter City Brewery

*4 blocks from Washoe Park - big trees, kids play areas, public pool, Warm Springs Creek, Goosetown Softball Tournament, Art in the Park

About the host

Montana born and raised, Idaho living, fly fishing guide, artist, creator, and family man. 3 kids and a French Bulldog. Yes, the pup loves fishing with me. We own multiple properties in Montana for guests to enjoy.
Why they chose this property
We have deep roots in this community and couldn’t be happier to have an Alturas Rentals presence in Anaconda! Both of my parents were born here, and both of their parents grew up, lived, and worked here.
I grew up in Billings, MT, with my mother, but I was lucky to spend my entire summer vacations here with my resident dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I learned to fish here. I learned to ski and snowboard here. I’ve loved this town when it was booming, while it was flailing, and now in its hipster resurgence :)

What makes this property unique
New build, fresh amenities, decor is a nod to the area's history, and proximity to everything in town.
