For our purposes, the home was adequate; however, several areas would benefit from updates. The shower heads, floor vent covers, and bathrooms all appear dated and in need of improvement. Although the listing indicates garage parking, the garage cannot be used for entry into the home or parking. Access is limited to two exterior staircases, both of which would benefit from the addition of a center brace.The neighborhood is quiet, though road noise from the nearby street is noticeable. Management was very responsive and promptly addressed the issues we reported, including the oven pilot light and a concern in the laundry room, which we greatly appreciated.The kitchen table is extremely unstable and tiny, so a replacement would be advisable. Overall, the home met our needs for the stay, but it would benefit from general maintenance and thoughtful updates.

The house was clean, the hot water was extremely efficient, the beds were very comfortable, and the place was generally as represented. However, the wifi was weak (2 bars throughout most of the house), and the small dining table was rickety, as were the exterior stairs. The kitchen equipment lacked certain essentials (such as a can opener and cutting board), the knives in the knife block were extremely dull, and there was no garbage disposal (or dishwasher, though that was obvious from the photos). There were also only two wastebaskets in the entire upper floor--the kitchen garbage can and one small can in the bathroom. None of these were insurmountable problems, and we did enjoy our stay. But I have paid less in the same area and season for places without those issues.

Just what we needed for our stay. Nice place. Check-in was a breeze. Everything worked. Only gave four stars because there was no dishwasher or full-size ironing board, which were minor things. Our dog loved it as well!

Overall, we had a pleasant girls' weekend here with a group of moms and daughters. The location was great -quiet, peaceful, and just a couple of miles from a grocery store, a charming downtown, and a small beach park.The house worked well for our group but could use some maintenance and thoughtful updates. The exterior stairs on both sides were steep, showed their age, and felt a unsafe when carrying luggage or groceries.Inside, the home looked renovated but not modernized. There was no dishwasher, the stove vent wasn't functional, and the kitchen lacked basics we've come to expect in vacation rentals, such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, a cutting board, and a least another skillet. The dining table also only seated four, even though the home sleeps six.The home felt more accommodating to pets than to people. More comfortable furniture, especially sleeper sofas, would make it much more comfortable for groups with children.Outside, the tucked-away deck had potential, but the landscaping felt neglected with overgrown weeds and shrubs making it extra buggy and uncomfortable to relax. The property management was excellent. When a toilet broke on our second evening, they responded immediately and even offered to come out that night.Overall, this property has a lot of potential. It doesn't need luxury finishes, just better maintenance, a few more kitchen essentials, and more attention to guest comfort. We'd stay again for a short weekend, but probably not a longer trip.

Paws at the Lake

Everything is brand new and beautiful! The only tricky part was getting into the house....I knew to use the side door, but in the dark we didn't realize there is a door on both sides of the house, so we kept trying the code on the lockbox at the garage door....maybe in the instructions describe where the door is and do NOT use the obvious lock box...

This home was an excellent place to stay. Thanks! Comfortable beds and very clean.Perhaps for may want to add a can opener and salt and pepper packets or shakers as those are always included in a rental. Thank you so much!
