We live just down the road and work on the property in our spare time. Our team handles maintenance and management with as little interruption to guests as possible. Routine outdoor maintenance for the property is typically scheduled after 10am for lawn, pond, hot tub, trails, firewood, etc. Hot tub maintenance is communicated with guests in advance.

We are in a rural location with plenty of space between neighbors. Pls. respect property lines. We expect guests to stay within the property boundaries marked with signage and fencing. Even with space, sound can travel. We ask that you be considerate especially after 9pm.

Winding Wood Cabin and Pond is set far off the road. On the road the street address is clearly marked on the mailbox. You'll follow a 1/4 mile serene wooded drive back to the cabin. Pls note neighbors on each side. We expect that guests will respect neighbors by being polite, staying within property boundaries, and keeping noise down after 10pm.

GatherYng Properties loves dogs! We accept dogs of owners that will care for our property and limit the "paw print" of their pups. We provide dog blankets to cover furniture etc. Pls let us know if you are traveling with your dog(s). Our pet fee is $150 FOR ONE DOG. ADDITIONAL DOGS ARE ADD'L FEES. PLS MESSAGE US FOR DETAILS.

Number of Guests in rental should reflect the number of guests on the property. Special gatherings and day guests allowed; additional fees may apply. YOU MUST DISCUSS IN ADVANCE ABOUT ANY HOSTING PLANS. We have security video cameras near the exterior doors. Renter is responsible for the number of guests, guest behavior, and outcome of events.

Winding Wood features an accessible entry ramp at the front of the house, making arrival and entry easier for guests with mobility needs. A shower chair and bedside commode are also available upon request.
