We were here for a wedding and rented 4 houses total in this area. Cannot get any closer to water. Enjoyed: decks, screened in porch, bed was comfy (I am picky), firepit, kayaks, paddleboat, hot tub.
I’m not sure the last time this house was stayed in but it looked like it had been quite a while. House was filthy, cobwebs everywhere, just dirty everywhere, doesn’t seem much maintenance is done, so many light bulbs burnt out, many more things, too many too list, looks like there used to be some type of pond by the master bathroom, weeds we’re very recently cut down because they were cut but still very green. Yes it does have a large deck but there is absolutely no view of anything but some trees that are completely blocking the river. You can find a much better place for the money.

I am so sorry you felt this way. The house is rented frequently. The views as I had previously stated are of the lake. But due to laws we are unable to cut trees, so views of lake of better once leaves fall. Many of our guests stay longer so the house caters to longer term guests. I wish you would have allowed me to address the issues while you were out. I appreciate your feedback and we will do better for the future.
Had a wonderful time at this property. The decor is inspired, the showers are excellent, and the jacuzzi tub was FANTASTIC. It's like a hot tub for two indoors (It fills from a spigot in the ceiling... don't be alarmed). The pantry was well-stocked with spices and the kitchen had plenty of cookware if you wanted to make your meals there. Enjoyed the giant patio, and saw plenty of deer and wildlife. The property is off the beaten path, which is exactly what I wanted. The nearest Wal-Marts are around 30 minutes away in either Huntsville (to the east) or Springdale (to the west). You should stock up on supplies before you arrive. There is no pizza delivery to this location, in case that is a need for you. There were some minor issues, but nothing that was a major concern:1) Neither bathroom had a hair dryer. This would be a nice addition. 2) Neither bedside lamp in the master bedroom had a switch next to the light; the only switches I could find were on the wall, away from the bed. A minor annoyance if you needed some light in the middle of the night.3) The jet shower in the master bathroom is awesome, but it took some fumbling with the control panel to get all of the jets to work and set the temperature properly. A quick-start guide would have been helpful. Once I got it working, it was AMAZING.Again, none of these were deal-breakers at all. It's a great house, and Stephanie the manager was easy to contact and very attentive. I would definitely stay here again.
