Great location

The location is great. Hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was okay, but not spectacular given the cost of the room.

Buyer beware

My mistake, I trusted the Vrbo listing “this price reflects all fees” and the Roompicks email “this is your final charge.” In actuality, there was an additional 60 per day “amenity” charge which gave us 6 free bottles of water and a restaurant.com gift card. Oh, and a “coffee bar” open only in the morning, which was a row of Keurig machines. No breakfast, no drinks (you can get those with an additional 99 amenity charge) no maid service, no refrigerator in the room. Our room was nice and the location is great.

Excellent location with all the shopping and dining choices around. The room was exactly what we needed, 2 of us, didn't spend much time indoors. Clean, comfortable. TV has only cable channels and not that many. No streaming. We did have a little fridge and a Microwave oven. We recommend the lounge on the 29th floor - excellent view and menu. Breakfast buffet was good, all usual choices. Breakfast was included in the price for the room. We also got a free drink per night per person and 10 off per night for the room at the lounge/bar. For those used to communicate via vrbo messages with a host, this one is useless. It's some AI that has a standard response of sending you to the front desk. Check in was a bit chaotic, we had to stop somewhere on the street, very busy street. It took a while. At the front desk was chaotic too and took a long time. Helpful and nice people though. We were planning on driving, but ended up just walking and using the hop on hop off bus, even though we paid 75 per night for valet parking. If you are not going to drive, better to park across the street, a lot cheaper. Either way, we would definitely come back when in Chicago.
