Under the Destin Sun was the perfect spot for us. We had 8 adults and 4 children. There was enough room for all to stretch out and not feel crowded. The house is lovely and the backyard/swimming pool area was very spacious. And yes literally one block to the Tarpon beach access. If you get to beach access early enough you may find a parking place for golf cart in one of the 4 or 5 places off the road. But you are so close you can walk easily back and forth. I definitely recommend this Beach House!

Perfect Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed staying for our summer vacation. Perfect location for a short walk to the beach and the house was perfectly setup with more than enough room for everyone to have space and enjoy. The pool was perfect for night time swimming. Everyone enjoyed the place from our young teenagers to their grandparents. Would love to stay here again!

Wonderful home and awesome location

We were in Destin for a family celebration. This home was perfect for us, our grown children/spouses and two young grandsons. The home had a great set up for a large group but still had cozy spots when someone wanted their own quiet space. The pool was a hit and we were also super close to the beach. Our Family of 5 had an amazing time!! Communication and check in was great!! Absolutely loved just to be able to walk to the beach and having a pool was nice to jump in and relax. One of the best places we’ve stayed at

We( a family of 14) really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Small issues were fixed quickly and all was wonderful We were pleased with the pool accessories and the beach equipment. We’ve been to destin with our family for at least 5 years and this is the first home we’d go back to. Thank you for the memories.

This was our first home together as a couple; we purchased in 2014 and lived here until the military moved us out of the area. We plan to keep this as our forever home and will return in retirement. The beaches are unmatched to anywhere else in the US and we love the area. This home is in the best part of Destin - halfway between San Destin/30A and the Harbor area of Destin. It's more of a residential area with quiet streets so you can easily access shopping and restaurants. While we are away from the area, we love to share our favorite place with others and hope you enjoy it too!

Why they chose this property

Short walk to the beach, so no need for driving (900 measured feet to Tarpon Street beach access). Close to the Destin Commons where you have everything -- Whole Foods, Bass Pro Shop, shops, restaurants, and a movie theater. What we love about our home is that it has plenty of backyard space with established trees - and a large pool! We chose more living room space and larger rooms to feel less cramped and allow for the group to spread out. There is enough dining table space to have the entire group come together for meals (both inside and out). There are three separate balconies on the second and back third floor (for sunbathing) the front porch and two living/family rooms. So there's an opportunity to be close with the group/family you bring, but also enough space to spread out on your own if needed. We have littles in our family so we have items for younger children in the home (we like to visit as often as we can).

What makes this property unique

House has everything you need - and you can pack less. Every bathroom has soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The kitchen is fully stocked with paper towels (2), dish towels, blender, two coffee makers (single cup Keurig and Standard Coffee Pot), and lots of pots/pans to make some great meals at home. Appliances are new and updated - there is a washer/dryer on the ground and top floor. We have a beach wagon, beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas.
