Casita is clean, fully furnished and pet friendly including new large flatscreen TV, outdoor grill, full size refrigerator, new stove, new washer & dryer, stocked pantry, A/C, heating, etc. Casita is decorated in Mexican style in a gated, safe, friendly, English-speaking community with 24 hour English-speaking Security guards. Casita sits on hill overlooking town and distant mountains. Covered, spacious patio with BBQ grill affords outdoor dining. Casita is an easy, safe two block walk to Mirador Beach on Sea of Cortez offering swimming, fishing, tide pooling, horseback riding, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, Enjoy dolphin/whale/bird watching, water sports, etc. Puerto Peñasco, aka Rocky Point, is a safe, friendly town 60 miles south of US border crossing at Lukeville, Arizona. Drive your own car over patrolled, modern highway. Must adhere to 25 mph all the way across Sonoyta. Enjoy awesome fresh shrimp, flounder in many restaurants.

Cute cozy house by the mirador beach. Owner let us check in early. Security was good and I felt safe my whole trip. Close to the beach, there’s a place to park your car with easy beach access. Walking to the beach is also an option but hard if you’re lugging your icebox and chairs with small children but doable maybe 10 minute walk. Nice cold air and comfy beds. House was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I can't say enough good things about this property. Comfortable bed, decent bathroom, washer and dryer, tons of appliances, a gas grill. Everything you could ask for and more. We brought our dog, and she was quite happy there. It is a short walk to the beach, and the Walmart is a short drive away. It is a gated community so we felt secure. I highly recommend this property, especially if you travel with your dog as the yard and patio are fenced.

La Casita Benito Juárez, Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico.The Host was quick to respond as soon as we booked. She was communicative and available for any assistance needed throughout the stay. The Casita was clean and well kept. We chose this place in particular because of how it has a vintage, authentic Mexican style look with beautiful & vibrant colors. They had all of the amenities that we needed. It was very roomy. It easily sleeps 4. Once entering, there is the living room where 2 can stay, with a good size futon/couch and a 3 seat family couch which is right in front of a 60" Smart TV. On the side there is a partition that separates a space that sleeps 2. There is one Bathroom/Shower but made it work. There is a Master bedroom with a Queen Size Bed and a Kitchen with a long Dining Table where we all ate at comfortably.The Casita is gated, has a driveway that fits 2 vehicles and a porch/patio with tables and chairs to enjoy the outdoors day or night. The Casita is also in a guarded community where there is 24 hour security guard monitoring the community so that everyone is safe. The location was perfect. Walking distance from the Beach "Playa Mirador" & "Manny's Beach Club" as well as plenty of other establishments.The kids & I had a blast and a memorable stay. I would definitely recommend for anyone that would love to experience the same. Gracias por todo :) !!!

Beautiful getaway casita

This charming casita felt like a home away from home. When we travel we like to have the amenities of home and this place was perfect. The patio was perfect for morning coffee and enjoying the local paper. Close to shops and restaurants, but still in a quiet neighborhood. Loved our stay!

Perfect place for our family

Loved staying here with our two kids and dogs. The fenced in yard was nice for everyone to run around while we could sit on the patio and enjoy coffee and games. The place felt really homey. It is super close to the beach and some great restaurants. Elizabeth was an amazing host and we will definitely be back again! We didn't want to leave!

Great Secure Location

Good spot

Quick getaway with dogs to beach. Ocean 5 min walk for dogs to run and fenced in yard to relax on patio. Close to downtown or a few bars to have food and drinks. Comfy beds!!!!! Well stocked with everything you could ever want.

Close to the US with excellent highway access from Lukeville, AZ to Rocky Point. 5 hours from Phoenix,
4 1/2 hours from Tucson, 6 1/2 hours from Flagstaff, AZ.
Conveniently use US dollars or MX pesos.
Passport required or crossing card, but no visa for US citizens.
Mexican liability car insurance required for all vehicles.
Purchase insurance on-line or before leaving the US.
