This apartment is beautiful and in a great location! Only downsides are the steep stairs up to the apartment and the lack of nearby parking. Definitely recommend.
Wonderful clean apartment in a fantastic neighborhood. Our host was communicative and friendly. Worth mentioning--2 flights of steep narrow stairs to reach apartment--it was a good workout! Plenty of interesting restaurants, cafes, shopping, and historical sites within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
Great location and space. Space is as advertised. Would definitely stay here again if in PA. The apartment is up a couple flight of stairs, great exercise…great leg work LOL The apt came fully stocked with everything you would need - from kitchen to bathroom. Host was quick to respond, communication great.
Perfect place for visiting the historic district. Clean and exactly like pictured!

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. We were only in Philadelphia for one night and this was a perfect spot to see a lot in a short amount of time. The place was clean and well-decorated and had everything we needed. Perfect!
Great place in the heart of old city! Every thing is in walking and very safe. Property was immaculate. Owners easy to communicate with. There are 2 sets of stairs for those who need to know but very do-able.
The host is exceptionally responsive and helpful. The apartment is spacious, with comfortable beds, a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers, air conditioning and just about everything you might need. We had a very pleasant stay.
This property was a great find! Clean, comfortable, and all the amenities we needed. Walking distance to bars and restaurants, and cheap transportation to ones further away. Host was very responsive when we had questions, would stay here again if I am ever in Philly. Great Value!
The place was very nice, clean and had a cool shuffle board that we def made use of.The beds were a bit hard for me (personal preference) and there could have been a few more essentials (salt/pepper/olive oil/dishwashing liquid or pods) Overall enjoyed our stay and would do so again more essentials
We will definetly book this place again on our next trip to DC!! It is SO close to a metro station and it was so easy to get around DC. Communication was awesome and there was also information shared on places to eat, shop, etc. We loved the house and the front yard space. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed our time outside.
In 24 hrs we accomplished a lot thanks to this perfect location that made access to so much. Wish we had another day but travel weather kept us from the first day.
We had a very good stay! Kids enjoyed the shuffleboard. The location makes it easy to walk to all the sites of Philly. We spent a day and a half exploring the city and parked our car in a parking garage around the corner during that time. Nice, clean space. Hostswere very communicative.
We stayed here for a long weekend. The apartment is so close to everything you won’t need to drive to any major attractions. The apartment itself is very clean, has a welcoming ambience, and we slept great every night. The host was very prompt in responding.
Pro tip for stayers that come after us that are driving in - look up where to park before you get there (like garages and such). We showed up on a Friday night and, unsurprisingly, there was no street parking available. We didn’t plan ahead well enough so we drove in circles for a short time trying to figure it out.
We had rented the room for my 40th birthday. We could not access the unit as the lock would not open. The owner was impossible to communicate with and will not refund our money. We will be contacting an attorney.

This guest wasn't cooperating with us, she didn't follow the instruction even we told them to turn the lock cylinder counterclockwise, and said they already contacted VRBO support instead as if the support can help them. This is the only guest which had problems opening the door and won't listen to our instructions. They even sent a video of them opening it the wrong way and I sent them the correct way of how to open the door, but they refused to cooperate and just left. I don't recommend this guest at all.
My husband is from Philly. The location is wonderful for historical reasons. The apartment is on the third story of steep steps so it helps to be in shape. The coffee pot did not work however there’s a Starbucks at the corner. I did report it. I have trouble with the washer on some of the settings. It wasn’t getting water to it. I also reported it. Neither was repaired. We were a little upset when we left as we were contacted asking if we brought our pet stating there was pet hair “everywhere!” We did not have a pet nor did we see pet hair.
We love Philadelphia
