Built in 2007 by local craftsmen, O Palheiro belongs to resident British proprietors and is a small (19m2) air conditioned open plan studio apartment sleeping 1 or 2 in a double bed. There is a shower room and well equipped galley kitchen featuring gas hob, electric oven, fridge and microwave. Laundry facilities are available on request. Outside, there is a private garden with BBQ and views down over the village to the sea. Free wi-fi.

Neil nous a très bien accueillis et donné toutes les informations nécessaires concernant l’hébergement. Une vraie petite maison de poupée très fonctionnelle en pleine nature, un jardin luxuriant, une petite terrasse en étage avec vue sur l’océan. Un parking proche du logement. Parfait pour quelques jours à Flores !

Alles bestens

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der gemütlichen Unterkunft genossen. Im Garten hat es hübsch geblüht- eine Wohltat. Wir haben Treppen gefunden, die auf das Dach geführt haben. Von dort aus hatten wir beim Frühstück einen wunderschönen Blich auf das Meer. Alles was wir gebraucht haben war vorhanden. Der Vermieter hat uns sehr nett eingewiesen; alles war unkomliziert. Restaurant, Meer, Bäcker, Wasserfälle,....,.. waren alle zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!Gerne

Kleines Häuschen in schönem Garten

Wir haben die Zeit im schönsten Ort der Insel, Faja Grande, sehr genossen. Netter Gastgeber, Natur pur. Abends mit dem Konzert der Gelbschnabel-Sturmtaucher, ein tollen Erlebnis.

Schöner Aufenthalt in Fajã Grande

Wir haben 4 schöne Tage in Fajã Grande verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist, wie auch in der Anzeige beschrieben, nicht sehr groß und etwas beengt. Vom oberen Freisitz hat man einen schönen Ausblick über Fajã Grande.

Perfekte Unterkunft für Wanderer und Genießer

Wenn man sich in einem traditionellen, kleinen, liebevoll eingerichteten Basalthaus mit hübschen Garten wohlfühlt und abends einen kurzen Weg zum Strand mag, um den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen, ist man hier bestens aufgehoben und kann die Zeit vergessen.

Une bulle de verdure

La maison de Neil est toute petite, mais si mignonne... rangements, équipements, produits de première nécessité... rien ne manque et tout est parfaitement pensé. Le jardin, magnifique, invite à la détente. Bref... on s'y sent bien et on n'a qu'une envie : revenir !

Sehr schön gelegenes kleines Haus im Garten...ruhig gelegen. Das HAus ist komplett und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Neil, der Vermieter war jederzeit ansprechbar für Fragen und Wünsche. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen. Auf jeden Fall werden wir wieder kommen... Sven und Radek

Charming place on a charming island

Having spent a few days in O Palheiro I may only confirm that it is a perfect place to stay in when exploring Flores island. It's comfortable, well designed, located on the more convenient site of the island, and Neil and Carol are always helpful with plenty of local knowledge. Recommended for sure!

Your own paradise...

We`ve stayed at this place for 4 days only but it`s enough to fall in love with it. In spite of weather surprises we get used to wake up with birds singing and enjoy breakfast in our private garden (thanks to Carol - it looked just amazing). Cottage has everything for staying 2 persons and Neil and his wife were very friendly and helpful. I`ll be happy to come back to the same place again!
