Teesta Homestay (Room 1)
Teesta homestay is conveniently located about 1.8 km from the town. Famous sites like Darjeeling zoo, himalayan mountaineering institute, Happy Valley tea estate and Ropeway are located just walking distance away. This posting is for Room 1 with a view. Rooms 1 and 2 cost INR 1500, Room 3 cost INR 1200 and traveler's room cost INR 1000 per night. Hot water flask and hot water bag is provided in every room, electric heater and usage of fireplace cost extra. Water is extremely scarce in Darjeeling but our bathrooms have running water 24/7. Geysers are installed in both the bathrooms for hot shower.
The house also has a fireplace and a small library in the shared living room. The guest can use the shared living room and the terrace. View of sunset is spectacular from the terrace.
Hema is an excellent cook and breakfast, lunch and dinner is available on request for a nominal charge. Car for sight seeing can also be arranged if needed.
