The location was so convenient to so many of the great neighborhoods of Toronto. Make sure to grab a beer and some poutine at the Village idiot. We enjoyed the indoor entrance to our unit and we made great use of the shared outdoor space. Our host was fantastic and the place was very comfortable and clean. We would book again!
Wonderful, spacious rooms absolutely spotless perfect location and a very gracious and accommodating host. What is the most important comment you can leave when you stay somewhere? We’ll be back.
Our group had a very memorable trip staying at McCaul hotel. Everything was clean, all the beds were comfortable, and the hotel was even nicer than it seemed in the listing. Would definitely stay here again. We had a bit of confusion with the door access code being buried somewhere in a text link, but the host was available to help us figure it out even during the late hour of our arrival.
Excellent location (able to walk to a bunch of attractions), friendly and communicative host, comfortable stay. Only thing to keep in mind is that the walls aren't super sound proof. It wasn't an issue for us, but if you're a light sleeper, maybe ear plugs are in order.
The McCaul was the perfect place for our family of four to stay in Toronto. The location is ideal, with a number of restaurants located a block away in Baldwin Village, and a number of other neighborhoods including Kensington Market and downtown just a 10-15 minute walk. Not to mention a streetcar stop a copule of blocks away, and a subway stop 5 minutes away. The apartment itself is well-equipped and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and it was nice and quiet. The washer/dryer was super convenient to have. Shameza was a wonderful host, always responding quickly to any inquiries, and even providing helpful local recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again.
Very loud unit. Thin walls and traffic noise in street which we weren’t prepared for. Not owners fault about tenants above but thin walls made for difficult sleeping as you could hear conversations , every footstep and movement of chairs and furniture above us. Great location though. Walked everywhere. Smaller unit than expected but worked for two couples.
Overall the stay was great. The rooms were clean and they think of a lot of little things like snacks and ear plugs and extra linens etc. it's a great location in the city and it's right next to a coffee shop and a Krispy Kreme!
