Bottle caps and cigarette butts all over the ground outside the front door that is broken. Used charcoal dumped out next to the front door. The storm door is broken. Coffee maker doesn’t work. AC filter needs to be clean. The water filter needs to be changed. The oven dial is unreadable. Ants everywhere. I guess I should have known at that price.

Kevin,
Sorry you did not have a good experience during your stay. You were one of our first guests, hence we offered a large discount. We greatly wish you had made us aware of these issues at some point during your 8 day trip. We have people on the street ready to assist with our guests’ needs. If we were notified of these issues they would have been addressed immediately. However, we have learned from this experience and have adjusted to prevent this from happening again. Let me address the issues you had during your stay: The arm on the new storm door was broken because the wind swung it open, we replaced the arm. We've hired a person to clean the yard between guests’ stays. We've replaced the coffee maker that was a little tricky to use. We ordered a knob for the oven that's easier to read. One of the ACs has a lint screen like a dryer that needs to be cleared every few days. We now warn people who haven't been to South West Florida about the bugs and wildlife. Also, we’ve provided more information about the property to better expectations. We appreciate the feedback. We’ve had dozens of happy guests since.
About the host
Hosted by Ryan Connors
I’m originally from Rhode Island, now I split time between San Diego and Estero. I play beach volleyball and enjoy traveling.
Why they chose this property
My family has been coming to Park Ave. for 5 generations. It’s a piece of Estero before all the development.
What makes this property unique
The yard around sunset is beautiful. You feel like you’re far away from busy SW Florida. However the location is centrally located to many attractions.
