Let me start by saying I'm older and enjoy indoors as much as outdoor. This unit was something I would rent with friends in my 20's when I was on a budget and only slept 4 hour because we were out the rest of the day. This place needs lots of TLC. Cleaning was okay but please dust behind TV and clean shower outside and inside better. I prefer not to shower in sand from the prior tenants. Also wipe down the walls as they are dirty or honestly painting would be better. Blinds need replacing as some are bent. Doors has been damaged and not repaired. Counter is warping and floor in main bedroom is cracked and sinking in 2 spots so you must avoid walking on it as it may break more. Sofa also needs replacing as the main chairs springs are worn and you sink in the sofa so if you're very old getting up can be a challenge not that I'm that old but my 86 year old Aunt would not have gotten off the sofa if she sat on it. Hostess was very responsive so it made the stay doable. Air conditioner works great. Again it's okay and if you're not in the unit except to sleep then it's fine. Oh and the golf cart made it convenient but you could always rent a cart if you don't get a cart so unfortunately the golf cart would not make me go back to this unit. The development itself is great lots of amenities within ocean lakes.

A lovely cozy cottage for a beach week! The street was very quiet. The golf cart and washer/dryer were huge perks of this bungalow. AC worked great! Very important at the beach the bedroom adjacent to the master is quite small, basically only fits the bed, which was no problem for our 5 year old but if you have tall lanky teens just know they will be very cozy! We enjoyed our stay and will happily book with Beach Bums again!
