Newly renovated historic farmhouse with all modern amenities, meals available.
Our property is perfect for family stays! You have exclusive use of the house. The warm homey feel is restful, and the beautiful property will encourage spending time outdoors enjoying wading in the creek and sipping your favorite beverage on our new deck.
Take time to reacquaint yourself with your friends and loved ones. Challenge each other in yard games of croquet, badminton, volleyball, Bocchi ball or jarts.
An old-fashioned cookout can be enjoyed by the creek. As warmer evenings draw us outdoors gather together to watch flames dance, share stories, and enjoy the yummy fun of the most beloved snack under the stars. Our pre-made s'mores kit is available with lots of variety like peanut butter cups, banana slices, chocolate-covered mint or whatever you can imagine. We will round up all the supplies for you at an additional fee, so you can focus on roasting your concoction over low, glowing coals after hungry snapping flames cooked your steak or hamburgers. Engage the children in the fun of finding just the right stick to cook their own hot dogs.
Our historic 1840 property sits on an acre and 1/2 country setting with lovely creek, yet it is conveniently close to shopping and entertainment. Total inside renovation has been completed summer of 2017.
We offer four large bedrooms with private tiled baths, which can accommodate 8 to 12 people. Our downstairs suite has two extra-long twin beds that can be converted to a California King. The dramatic white and rich blue décor brightened by tall Victorian windows gives a cheerful welcome. It's softened by the antique desk and rocker's wood tones. It's large bathroom is a natural gray with subway tiles surrounding a sunken jetted tub and raindrop shower. The sun porch is adjacent to the suite with a beautiful view of the creek and horse pasture and can be used as a kid nook using the trundle bed to sleep two.
The second floor King suite has a rich stately feel. The ensuite bath is attired with an antique vessel bowl vanity. Connected is another private bedroom with a bunk bed and desk that can be used as a kid nook. This room leads out to a new second floor deck with café table to have your coffee and read the morning paper. The warm rustic feel of the double bed room lets you unwind and enjoy the peace of a simpler day. It is furnished with antiques, a sliding barn door to the shower and in room vanity. You'll want to stay in bed and cozy up with a book. We have a selection of books if you didn't bring yours.
Our Queen bedroom exemplifies the country refinement of this historic 1870 home. The room's coloring of warm browns and grays emits a calming to one's mood.
Major tourist attractions are: Hershey Park 25 minutes away, Harrisburg capital 10 minutes, Lancaster Amish Country 30 minutes down the road. Gettysburg Civil War Park 45 minutes, Sky Roundtop all season park 30 minutes. Our area is filled with fun, exciting events year round. Highland's golf course is across the road. Thank you for your review and yes, you’re right. Hershey Parks only about 20 minutes away. There’s two weeks worth of touring here in our area that you’ll have to try next time. Gettysburg is not too far either come again anytime.
This older home has been lovingly restored and renovated. Lots of room to share with the family. The hosts were pleasant and helpful.

I appreciate your kind review. We so enjoy families using our property to make memories and have fun. Come back anytime. The Renaissance fair is on this weekend. Have you ever gone?
Family enjoyed the home that contained old school historical aspects from back in the day, a reminder from our grandmothers home. Comfy beds and quaint homey feeling enhanced our family get together. Owner was very helpful and personable.

Loved having you all. Your children are sweet. We can have fun in the creek next time.
Perfect spot for catching up with family and seeing Hershey
The farm house was exactly what we had hoped- providing a kitchen table, a living room, and wonderful outdoor deck for hanging out, as well as a great location for seeing local sights. We appreciated everyone having their own bathroom. Hosts Paula and Duane were reaponsive and friendly. A terrific stay!We
The stay was fabulous. It had everything we needed. We had 10 guests and we all slept comfortable. Every room has a bathroom. The host(s) were awesome. Friendly, Kind and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property.
Such a great property to stay at. Peaceful and quiet. Nice separate areas so you don't disturb anyone else in the house. Loved having 4 bathrooms. Close to evrything you need(gas, grocery, restaurants, etc). Easy drive to Hersheypark. Paula and Duane were readily available at any time.

Glad the house and property worked out so well for your family. You’re right you feel secluded in the country but if you need anything, it’s only a few minutes away for the malls and the restaurants come again anytime
There were seven of us staying at this property. Duane and Paula were great hosts. The accommodated a early arrival by one sibling and checked to see if we needed anything several times. The house is just as pictured in the listing. It was perfectly located for day trips to Hershey, Gettysburg, and the Flight 93 memorial. We highly recommend this location.
There was 8 siblings, ranging in age from 73 down to 58. The house fit us all nicely. For such a large house, the kitchen seating area was a little small, but we compromised by instead of having the kitchen as our main seating/conversing space, like we usually do, we moved to the parlor. But the over all house was quite spacious. It was in a very convenient area for us to go to lots of antique stores and flea markets. Paula and Duane were very accommodating hosts. We would highly recommend their property.

Thank you for the nice review. We did have folding chairs for you to add to the table and I should’ve told you you could pull it out and open the extension.
We appreciated how well you took care of the house. Glad y’all had a good time here come back anytime.
My family and I were at Hershey PA for the weekend of June 27,2025 so I booked the property for the weekend. It was as advertised, clean, spacious, and have enough room to sleep the amount of people it advertised. The property is as advertised. I left one of my phone at the property and they even mailed it back to me.
The property worked out great for the 12 of us. Four different families used it for the weekend. Close to Hershey park. Fantastic.

Darling
The owners are lovely and thoughtful. The house is a great mix of modern updates and antique flare. The property has plenty of space for a large group to sleep, congregate, and enjoy a bit of peaceful nature. We also opted to have breakfast at their restaurant and it was truly delicious.

Family getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 9 (all adults) and the house is welcoming and comfortable. Even though we are a big group, there are enough beds and bathrooms for all of us without feeling like we were on top of each other. The owners are very nice and thoughtful - even surprising us with bagels and water bottles upon our arrival. We all highly recommend this home!

We didn’t spend too much time in the house. We were there for our daughter’s wedding. Locating the driveway to unpack was confusing. I would highly recommend checking in during daylight hours. The house is very spacious and the pictures on VRBO are accurate. Since it is an older home, it could use some upgrades. Shower curtains and furniture should be replaced. Owners are quick to respond to any issues. It helps that their home is on the property.

Suzanne, since this is a historic property we purposely tried to keep the antiquity of the house in the style of the furnishings. The entire 2nd and 3rd floors of the house were gutted 5 years ago and rebuilt with new utilities, windows, walls etc.
I will replace the shower curtains.
Hope the wedding celebrations were wonderful.
What a wonderful house to stay in for our family get-together. We had 5 adults and 4 children. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, so everyone was very comfortable. The beds, the linens and the towels were all excellent quality. The kitchen was well appointed with plentiful dishes, cookware, etc. The grounds were gorgeous and the kids loved playing outside. Location was perfect, only about 20 minutes to Hershey. Hope to stay here again, sometime!

Very enjoyable visit
This is a lovely, well-equipped property. Our stay was just overnight so I did not get the chance to fully explore but I would have liked to do more. The mattresses were excellent. The bathrooms are gorgeous and spacious. We used the kitchen, deck, living room fully. It is very comfortable.

Thank you Ladies for you kind comments. You're welcome back anytime. It makes our hearts happy to see people enjoying the property and having such a good time.
My family of 4 stayed on the property with friends that also have 2 children (ages 7, 12, and 14). We loved that each couple and pair of children had their own space with a private bathroom. Everything was spotless and the bathrooms were recently updated. The hosts thought of everything from nightlights in each room to dishes and even sugar and tea. I felt like I was staying at my Mom's house. An added bonus was the gorgeous gardens around the property. We spent most of our time at Hershey Park which was an easy 22 minute drive.

We’re so happy that you enjoyed your stay at Fulling Mill Inn. Thanks for taking good care of the house and appreciating all the little details that we filled in for you so that you had everything that Everything you needed. Come back anytime. Really Appreciated the Nice review.
We spent 3 nights at this property while on an extended weekend family trip to the Hershey area. The property was a perfect place for our three-generational family to spend time together while visiting Hersheypark and the surrounding area. There was plenty of space for all of us- 6 adults, three children and one baby. The configuration of the bedrooms was especially appealing. There were enough twin size beds for the children, while still providing larger ones for the 6 adults. Check-in was super easy, important for us as we were arriving from 3 different states; and everything was clean and as advertised. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay again if we return to the area.

Thank you for the nice review Janet, I see the page has been updated and this is the first I've seen your comments.
Come back anytime. I love to see families like yours use the house just as we set it up for sweet memories to be made.
We booked the Fulling Mill Inn for Friday and Saturday nights (for ourselves and out of town guests), and had our wedding on site on Saturday. Ourselves and our guests just loved the beautiful old house, and we ended up giving quite a few tours so people could see all the amazing features. The house was very clean, and the kitchen has pretty much anything you could possibly need. We had our wedding in the side yard, and Paula and Duane just went above and beyond making sure that everything worked out well for us and our guests. We are so happy that we found this venue, and so thankful that they opened up their incredible old home to us. Everything turned out wonderfully, we cannot say thank you enough!

Thank you so much for this nice review. I thought I responded to it earlier, but sometimes the cell phone doesn’t attach what I write. We appreciate the kind comments you make for our future wedding guest and hopefully we’ll see more couples taking their vows
4 siblings and our spouses stayed at the Fulling Mill Inn for our eldest sister's Golden Anniversary. Paula and Duane were excellent hosts. They arranged a totally off-menu cookout (which became a cook-in due to the weather) which was excellent. The weather cleared enough for S'mores by the fire.
The Inn is a charming, renovated older home with a private restaurant-like eating area in the terrace level, as well as a full kitchen in the residence. They offer a bed and breakfast option, of which we did not partake (but may well at a future stay), and pre-arranged lunch and dinner options in the restaurant area.
The grounds were very pretty, particularly the flowers planted immediately below the Inn. There is an upper and lower parking area, the smaller upper area is best for guest, close tot he entry - for good directions from your GPS, the 2 parking areas have 2 different addresses - just ask Paula for them.
Overall we greatly enjoyed our trip and the Inn very much and will probably stay there again.
The property was so beautiful. I had my husbands 40's surprise party there and everything went well. I was not expecting a lot of people to show. When I booked it I said a small party and well in the mean time my mother got really sick and the planning for the party was so sporadic an unorganized because of what I was dealing with during my mothers sickness. I did not remember how many people I invited and well a lot of people wanted to celebrate Andrew's 40th birthday. He has a lot of family and friends who care for him. When I reached out to Paula a few weeks before the party she had called me to discuss the party and help me out as best as she could. She did not realize it was that big so for her to accommodate me and understand that I just lost my mom on April 7, 2024. The party was great and the property was so nice and peaceful.
