New-Contemporary and Cozy has 3 bedrooms:
1 master bedroom - one king bed and ensuite with soaker and walk-in shower.
1 lower level bedroom - two ex.l twin beds combine into king, next door to main lower bath with bath/shower combo.
2 nd lower level bedroom - one queen bed, next door to main lower bath and near lower powder room.

Excellent linens and bedding

Guest area is open concept-separate and above garage, full kitchen facilities, and has sleeping for 3-4.
2 Extended Twin Beds can be combined into a King.
plus it has an -Allerton Queen- Comfortable pull out foam bed.

Main area has newer Viking, Kitchenaid and Miele Appliances.

Guest area has newer stainless steel appliances.

each area has a washer/dryer laundry pair and an outside LPG Grill for BBQ'ing.

main area sleeps six to eight and can be rented with or without guest area which sleeps an additional 4 people. Total maximum guests are limited to 10.

Location, location, location!!! Otters & seals every day. We walked to town picking blackberries along the way. Easy drive to Victoria or airport. This was a great option for our group of friends getting together from various places. Comfy beds, lots of towels, we were all sad to leave at the end of our stay! (Great communication from host also)

Wonderful Stay; Beautiful View

We had a great stay at this house. A group of friends stayed for my birthday weekend and we enjoyed sitting on the balconies, watching otters and seals swim in the inlet. Sooke is a cute town close enough to Victoria to explore.

Great family accommodations

Property is well equipped to handle an extended family of ten. Great location and no lack of amenities. Everyone had very comfortable sleeping and washroom facilities. Family meals were were not a problem. Highly recommend this property.

Excellent Large Home Buy The Sea

This was a fabulous place for us to stay. We were a group of ten and rented both the house and garage suite. We had two grown up kids and two younger kids stay in the garage suite and the rest of stay in the house. The house has large gathering areas on both main and lower levels so it was a great place for our large group to spend the week. We saw otters and hummingbirds every day from the rear large windows facing Sooke Basin. The house is a short 15-20 minute walk to the middle of town. We did some kayaking, hiking, explored several beaches, and did a couple of day trips into Victoria. There are many things for families to do in the area so we all had a great time. We're all glad we chose this house as a place to stay and enjoy our vacation.

Beautiful, clean, stylish contemporary home on the water with spectacular view. Home had everything we needed to prepare meals for the 8 of us, although the Sooke restaurants were fabulous too. Media room was a treat! One complaint was very small queen bedroom downstairs had no room to move around or unpack as much as a t-shirt, and bed was so soft and uncomfortable that we used family room sofas for sleeping. The guest house above the garage is beautiful, roomy and comfortable, with its own kitchenette and cute balcony over the water, but every drawer and cabinet, closet was full of owners storage, so impossible to unpack.

Gorgeous Home/Suite - perfect for groups/families

This vacation rental is beautiful: the set-up, location, views and access to local amenities are ideal for groups/families who want to get away for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Our group was comprised of 9 adults and four children (ages 2-10) - and we all loved it. We rented both the house and the Suite. The house is incredible - the architectural design and details are very impressive. There are high-end appliances, comfortable beds, two full baths and two half baths, and beautiful views from every part of the house. The theatre room is a pleasant bonus - especially if the weather isn't cooperating and you want to stay in. The suite is equally charming - perfect for a couple or small family - it has everything one needs to feel at home. It was so wonderful to wake up each morning to the breathtaking view of the ocean and the kids really enjoyed seeing the different wildlife that would visit the area each day. We saw seals, deer, swans, numerous geese, a crane, and a bald eagle - and those were viewed from off the back deck! During low tide, we were able to walk quite a ways from the house to explore the shoreline. The pictures on your VRBO site do not do the place justice. Thank you for opening your home to us Gordon & Teresa - it was a pleasure to visit and we would not hesitate to rent again!

Beautiful home, and views from the property. We saw lots of seals, otters, and birds.No beach access or outdoor table for dining, but large indoor dining table and nice lounge chairs outside. Bbq off on the patio near the kitchen was convenient.Additional suite is above the garage with a nice little patio. In the main house the largest master bedroom was on the main floor, you enter on the top floor with kitchen and more formal seating area. Downstairs has the other 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large couch in casual living room and a ‘movie room’ space.Really amazing water views and comfortable home with well stocked kitchen

We stayed in this house for 7 days this July, and found the listing to be fairly accurate! The house was very well stocked (best I have ever seen at a VRBO) and perfectly clean. We did run into a couple of small issues involving the lights not working, but the owner communicated quickly and we replaced a number of the light bulbs (they were specialty bulbs, and almost all the bathrooms were burnt out for some reason). The house is gorgeous, and we really liked being able to spread out as a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. It was really fun to see all the wildlife visit the dock too! We saw blad eagles, otters, deer, and seals. It was pretty magical. I would be happy to visit again!

Sooke vacation

It was a beautiful place to stay for the 8 we had I. Our group, which included two kids and 6 adults,were very comfortable! The house was gorgeous and immaculate! Every Amenity you would ever need was anticipated by our host. The ocean view was breathtaking and the playful otters and seals on the dock were fun for all to watch! We appreciated the garage space as a place we could park our electric bikes as well. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were SO fluffy and nice. The highlight of the house was the huge windows on both levels and the outdoor decks that provided spectacular views of the ocean and sea life. The beach was easily accessible and the pathway was well groomed. Some in our party enjoyed paddle boarding there as well. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone staying in the Sooke area!!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully laid out—perfectly accommodating our group of six. Everyone slept comfortably, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. The kitchen was particularly impressive—well-equipped, spacious, and a real highlight of the home. Beautiful house amazing view, recommend this house the only down fall was our stay was only 3 nights. Truly amazing house, found Sooke to be a great alternative to Victoria. The kids enjoyed private beach scavenging for crabs and any other creature they could find. Thank you!

Beautiful

The house is stunning, seals all day in the water right in front of you. It's really spacious a d invited, comfy places to sit and overall really home-like. Host was great with communication. The suite is fully separate so you do have to go outside of the main house to get in but not a big deal. Beautiful place would absolutely recommend
