A cute farmhouse, with goats. We had a wonderful time at the Palisade Peach Festival and this farmhouse was perfectly positioned to allow for the Festival, local restaurants, and a calm weekend with family.

A lovely property exactly as described. Very homey, well decorated, and stocked with all the items we needed for our stay. The farm animals were cute and curious about us and our dog. Pretty close to all the various wineries that we wanted to visit in Palisade.

This downstairs apartment was clean and quiet. I have rented many apartments short term over the years and this one was most well stocked by far. Everything worked well.

The host who met us at arrival was very nice. The apartment was very clean. I happened to wear light colored socks to walk around and they barely showed any dirt. The apartment was freezing though and we didn't have a way we could find to turn down the AC. The kitchen was very well stocked with supplies (even ziplocks and baking items). The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Be aware though that this is a basement apartment directly under the host's home so you will hear voices and movement on the floor above you. It doesn't feel completely private. It is necessary to request to use the grill, patio and hot tub in advance. We did set up a time to use the grill, but didn't bother to make arrangements to hang out on the patio or hot tub. I think if we didn't have to 'ask first' we would have felt more spontaneous about going out. The location was perfect for our bike rides at the CO National Monument and in Palisades. The area is secure with a coded gate to get in and out of the property. I would stay here again.

I visited the western slope for a long weekend with my boyfriend and his mom to do a group bike ride in Grand Junction and visit the wineries and peach orchards in Palisade. This house worked great for us and our dogs with a quiet location still a short drive from Grand Junction. It was fun to see the farm animals and easy to let our dogs out in the fenced yard. There were lots of thoughtful touches (like flossers in the bathroom) and a well stocked kitchen. Hanna was very responsive and accommodating with a few minor questions and requests that came up during our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall, great stay. As advertised, clean, strong communication and it has almost anything you might need. For longer stays be prepared to wash dishes by hand. A larger selection of dishes could be helpful. The house is on a septic system, so you might have an occasional smell from the tank.

Cozy place and responsive owners made for a fun weekend. The kitchen was well stocked! There were some repairs needed but they were responded to. I would have liked a bannister in the entrance to the basement. It was chilly downstairs but we enjoyed the hot tub nightly!
